We value you as our customer, ********* and take your concerns very seriously. Our records reflect your car was flagged into service on October 15th. We tried to reach you to go over the completed diagnostic by phone on 10/23, 10/28, and 10/30. We left voice mail messages on the last two calls but were not able to leave one on the 23rd. We also send emails to you on 11/01, 11/04 and 11/06. Please contact us as soon as possible and ask to speak with either ***** or ******. They will be happy to assist you.Christina

I am rejecting the response because I must express that your claim of having attempted to reach me via phone and email does not reflect the reality of my experience. I never received any direct communication from a person no phone calls, voicemails, or even a direct follow-up from a representative. The automated system that contacted me was that automated asking for a payment not discussing the issue at hand of the car that is in your possession and in need of repairs. Any email received again was to call the finance and again the person that answered was either questioning why I would like to speak to ***** or they sent me to a voicemail. Again no contact with ***** or any human person that could discuss the car repairs and finance. Its extremely frustrating that despite the serious nature of my car being in your care for over a month, my efforts to get timely and clear communication have been met with automated responses instead of real interaction with a person. I rely on direct contact, especially for issues concerning my vehicles status, and I am disappointed that your dealership has failed to provide this level of service. I will need to reconsider any future business with your dealership and explore alternative avenues to address my concerns.Review fromCheryl M

1 starWorst dealership I had to deal with . ************************* is hard to get ahold of left him voicemails everyday , emailed him and nothing. I purchased a vehicle back in April , a week later it broke down . Took it to them to fix and was told it would be ready by Friday of that week , didnt receive my car back until beginning / mid May only to turn around two weeks later and the same thing I took it in for was not even fixed . Stuck it out and now its just one thing after another with this car . *** spent probably the same amount I could on a new vehicle already . And here we are September and everytime I call I go straight to the voicemail . Very sad , not very customer like . And definitely not a happy camper .Review fromTonzena C

Texas Auto Is Literally ***************** You Can Ever Do Business With. Tbh I Have No Idea How They Are Even Still In Business Considering How Many Messed Up Cars They Finance Say They Passed State Inspection. They Have The Most Careless People Working For Them Who Are Beyond Rude And Not Caring. It Doesnt Matter If You Are A Loyal Customer They Still Will Treat You Like C*** And Push You To The Side Like A Nobody. I DO NOT Recommend Them At All. You Will Be Highly Disappointed In Ever Way Possible. And Texas Auto Dont Come On Here Trying To Act Like You Value Your Customers And Tried To Help Under This Review Cause Your Full Of Shitt If You Do. This Is Exactly Why Yall Have Not One Good Review Within Several Years And To The *********************************** You Can Highly **** It. Ive Been Dealing With Yall For 2 Years And ********************* Gets Worse And Worse Yall Deserve Negative 10 Stars For The Way Yall Treat People But Karmas A Mf And Youll Get Yours On Gods Timing.Texas Auto Center

1 starGot the vehicle 2 weeks ago, 3 days after having the vehicle it started to overheat. You can smell the radiator fluid burning. The driver side back door ***** gets stuck and the door doesn't want to open at times. The passenger door doesn't unlock by the key faab, have to open that door from the inside. The horn doesn't work at least 90% of the time. I can get it to work here and there. All the tires are old and dry rotting. When taking the vehicle back up there I'm told I need to leave it a few days to diagnose. I'm not sure how they expect you to get to work to continue to make a paycheck all while giving up the car. No option for a loaner vehicle while they service mine. How could you sell me a lemon like this??? I put 1200 down and gotta pay 600 a month on this c*** Not good business.Review fromRaven W

Dont ever buy a car from Texas auto they need to be shut down! They have put me in 4 different vehicles and the 4th one is now running hot ! I have lost my job because of transportation each car had motor and engine issues and even one of them caught on fire even after they had fixed it and had it in their shop for a week. **** , *************** are very rude and they never answer the phone to speak to anybody about anything . They wanna take your money but dont want to help you when they sale you a bad car. Every car that I have got from them either need a oil change , brakes and rotors or it runs hot they have a million cars in the back and they dont give out loaners until they are done with your car. Everybody up there is rude and they honestly need to be shut down ! They dont check the cars before they put them on the lot they just slap a number on there and youll eventually have a problem a week or 2 later . It doesnt matter how much you put down all of those cars are trash ! I hope they shut them down ASAP ! DONT EVER BUY A CAR FROM TEXAS AUTO YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTEDTexas Auto Center

We value **************** as our customer and apologize for her experience. We take her mechanical and customer service concerns very seriously and offer her the following response.
Unfortunately, **************** experienced mechanical issues with her first three vehicles early on. We addressed her concerns expeditiously and offered Settlement Agreements for the first two vehicles, but she declined and asked to trade out. Mechanical diagnostics were completed on all before purchase, and each passed state inspection. A head gasket failed on the first and resulted in engine replacement. The second experienced transmission failure and the radiator failed in the third, which resulted in engine failure. The fire **************** reported was caused by a small animal or trash debris that touched the catalytic converter. She did not mention concerns with the brakes on her first two vehicles. Brake pads and rotors were warrantied as a courtesy on her third vehicle, at no cost to ****************.
Her current vehicle was towed to us on March 14th due to mechanical failure. She said it overheated and the brakes were squeaking. Over ****** miles were added to the odometer since she bought it on November 27th, 2023. Based on the mileage, the car would have required manufacturer-recommended maintenance such as oil changes and other periodic services. We do know if maintenance was performed elsewhere but we have no record of servicing her car until it was towed in. Routine maintenance is vital and can prevent things like overheating and towing. We completed a diagnostic, replaced the radiator and upper radiator hose, performed a full-service oil change, and evacuated and recharged the cooling system. We could not duplicate the noise with the brakes but recommended the replacement of the brake rotors and ceramic pads, however, **************** declined the brake service. Our 24-month/24,000-mile Limited Warranty covered most of the repairs at $1,154, we covered part of the tow fees and broke Ms. ******* deductible and the remaining tow balance into interest-free payments.
We have done our best to work with **************** and granted her requests to trade out. All payments made on the first three vehicles were transferred, in full, to her active account. We are sorry she feels disappointed and are committed to working with her moving forward.Review fromFana K

Thank you for providing us with your feedback, ******************. We value you as our customer and want to work with you but we are confused about what you mean by closing your account and opening up a new one on the same vehicle. Your account is eligible for a payment due date change if you are interested. It looks like we granted your request for one back in April but it was not completed because we did not have a signed Amendment. This change requires you to sign an Amendment to your Retail Installment Contract. Please reach out to ********************* at TAC Acceptance at ************. He will be happy to explain the Amendment process and help facilitate it if you opt to do so.Review fromChristopher R
