I am writing to file a complaint against Creative Website Studios, from which I purchased a website package (paid in full) that included a 3-year hosting plan. Unfortunately, my experience has been marred by unacceptable practices that warrant immediate intervention.Details of the complaint:1) Unilateral Website Shutdown:Approximately one year into the 3-year hosting plan, Creative Website Studios abruptly shut down my website without any prior notice. This unexpected action has caused substantial disruption to my online presence and adversely impacted my business operations.2) **************************************** the sudden website shutdown, Creative Website Studios is demanding an additional $600 for ADA ********** upgrades. To get clarification, I contacted the ADA *********** line. The ADA agent informed me that there is no explicit timeline mandated by *** for ensuring website **********. Therefore, there should be no necessity to bring the website down. Furthermore, there is no stipulation or restriction preventing a hosting company from providing data or files of a website to the client.3) Refusal to Provide Backend Login Credentials:Despite my request, Creative Website Studios is refusing to provide the backend login credentials necessary for me to move the hosting of my website to another company and do necessary for **** Request for BBB Intervention:Given the circumstances, I am seeking BBB's assistance to urgently address this matter. I request that Creative Website Studios be compelled to reactivate my website for a minimum of 15 days and provide backend login credentials. This will allow me to migrate my website to another hosting company without undue delay.I have attempted to resolve this issue directly with Creative Website Studios, but their uncooperative behavior leaves me with no other option but to seek your intervention.I trust that the BBB will investigate and facilitate a fair and swift resolution. Hi,
Hope you are doing well.
The complaint which was raised by *************************, it is not useful and he is just trying to damage our business reputation. We have contacted him to complete the ADA ********** process which is mandatory for all online businesses.
He failed to do so and we have also asked him to provide the dedicated hosting from any other company so we can migrate your site there, because we know no one can accept any website for hosts which is not ADA ********* and he failed to provide the dedicated hosting too.
When he felt that he didn't have any other option then he filed a complaint against us.
We are here to help him, if you can provide the dedicated hosting of any other company so we can migrate the site or he can finish the ADA ********** process so we can do the needful.

I am rejecting this response because.Please see my conversation with Creative Website Studios in attached email.
- See email sent on Wed, Dec 6, 2023 at 2:40?PM and Thu Dec 7, 2023 at 3:01?PM: I requested them multiples times to cooperate in migrating my website to another hosting company and requested the information which is required for migrating the website by another hosting company.
- When, they kept denying to cooperate in website migration process to another hosting company, finally I asked them to provide PDF versions of all the website pages. See email sent on Tue 12/12/2023 5:25 PM.
Here is another hosting company which is ready to host my website:

In order to migrate my website, they need following, which is a regular process of website migration:
- Login credentials to my current hosting account in Creative website studios
- My website to be active for about 10 days, so that they can complete the migration process

This is not the way how we work.
1. You must have a package from BlueHost which will be dedicated hosting not the shared hosting, as your current website is custom made which can run only on dedicated server and your website was hosted with us also on dedicated server.
2. if you have the dedicated hosting from BlueHost then please share the access to our email from there we can migrate the site then you and BlueHost will be responsible for all.
If you don't have the dedicated hosting then please there is no need to respond back as we have explained you everything personally and now I have explained here too.

I am rejecting this response because:1) I talked to Bluehost and few other website hosting providers. They said that I certainly does NOT need dedicated server for hosting my website as it is just few pages and simple website, also not too much traffic is required.
They all are recommending me to get shared hosting account and share the access with you. So, you can migrate my website to their hosting server.
Please let me know if this would work for you to migrate my website?
2) Explain me the reasons to get a dedicate server. I will discuss with Web experts, if found reasonable, I will get a dedicated server.
If I get a dedicated server, do you promise to migrate my website there and make it up and running without causing any more difficulties to me?

We are developers and we create the site on custom coding with custom design so we know what is needed instead of you.

Createive websites threatened to shut down all of our websites in a day's notice for them not being ADA ********** They are refusing to give us the login information to do ourselves and are asking us to pay or they are shutting everything down. Two years ago I hired Creative Website Studio to create a website to host my ****************. They called me on April, 26th, 2023, 3 days before the hosting service expired and wanted me to continue with them. *************************, department head was extremely rude and used the * word when I demanded to know why they waited until 3 days to inform me that my hosting contract had expired. When I told them that I was not going to renew with them and wanted them to release my domain name ********************* Photography" they said they would only release it if I renewed with them. They told me if I did not pay them over $400.00 within two days they would shut down my website. I at great expense had to hire a new web hosting service, get a new domain name and buy new business cards. My website was offline for several days and I may have lost clients during that time.
