transaction took place 12/21/2021 in the invoiced amount of ******* paid in cash. truck made it home from auto repair shop and never started again. was then told it was the idm (injector drive module) husband and i began working on it as we could not afford another trip to shop. in order to replace the wiring harness we had to remove the turbo (which was done at jrs and on the invoice parts cost ******* for turbo ****** turbo stand (pedestal) it was agreed it was to be a ****** stock turbo and pedestal. upon inspection of installed turbo it was discovered it was an aftermarket knock-off (not *******) called pure Energy. this promped us to look deeper where we discovered the *** valve was still the original.(On invoice for ******)as we inspected the **** (on invoice for ****** psrts and ****** labor) we discovered the hpop was also untouched and the original. the oil change was needed for the replacement of the hpop (as you lose oil when its removed) However, with the hpop not being touched we did not need nor want an oil change as it was unnecesary. the cold air intake on invoice for ****** was correct. The exhaust pressure sensor on invoice for 118 appears new . i am unaware of the the status of the clean tube as i dont know what tube he was supposed to have cleaned.i also have an audio recording of them admitting i asked for a ******* turbo and their supplier must have sent the wrong part as well as initially admitting he may have forgot the hpop and ipr valve. he offered me 289 cash back, until i pointed out the hpop was ****** plus ****** labor on top of ****** for the ipr valve. 2 days later he called me and stated he had rebuilt it in shop because he couldnt get the part from the supplier, he just forgot to tell me, and that he has a remanufactured ******* turbo in the shop he can swap out. I have ZERO Faith and trust. i will give him back the turbo that was placed on my truck without hesitation. i want my money back in the amount of $3455.45Initial Complaint

This auto mechanic shop has had my 2012 ***** Silverado **** since April of ****************************** their possession. This shop will not release my vehicle to me because it is said I owe them $10,404.26 for all the repairs that were made to fix the vehicle without my consent or approval. This shop is run by a father and son and all my communication I had was through the son *********************. Initially only changes that were to be made to the truck was for the fuel pump and shortly after ***** asked me to send money via Venmo for fuel injectors, fuel rail, and more parts and labor. I asked for what parts he stated the above mentioned. The money was sent through Venmo (currently amount paid to ***** $2,247.00). During the duration of 2 years there has been very little communication after trying to check on the status of my truck. No calls, no texts and at one point I contacted the local Sheriff and explained this shop has my truck and they refuse to answer and shortly after that ***** from the shop said truck is still being worked on. Ive driven to this shop numerous times they keep saying theyre working on it and nothing appears to be done with it. They only reach out to provide the same update their working on it when its convenient for them. Here we are 2 years later, I feel like the son has conned me into sending him money directly and never went to my truck. There seems to be a family issue with father and son regarding the money because now Im hearing a different story from the father, named *******.The son ***** texted me on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 saying it is out of his hands and there is nothing else he could do. That the issue is now between me and his dad. He also attached a fraudulent made up invoice to send me for all the work he allegedly did to my truck without my knowledge, consent, or approval. It looks more like an invoice for a quote or estimate. They are either trying to put a mechanics lien on my truck or do a bonded title.
