My daughter left her vehicle at Burrows Auto Sales and Service September 7th 2023. In the beginning she informed the owner, ******** Burrows to give her a few weeks as she had just began a new job and wouldnt be paid immediately. October 5th 2023 my daughter ************************* sent her a message shes able to pay for the repairs and to start repairing her vehicle, 2013 **** Flex. Over the next few months my daughter would call to check on the vehicle after not hearing any updates from ******** or mechanics on the condition of her vehicle. The times she was able to get in contact with someone, they would state the car is almost ready and would need a few more days and they will call to come pick it up. February comes around and my daughter goes to get items out of the vehicle and notices her car is parked in the back lot of the business, behind dozens of cars. The owners husband ******* informed they had moved the vehicle to the back the beginning of January due to more mechanical issues with the acceleration. This was new news to my daughter as no one had explained it to her previously. She initially dropped the car off in drivable condition for simple AC repair, 02 sensors and radio issues. The owners husband stated he didnt know what car was my daughters or not knowing where her keys were left. My daughter proceeded to walk back to the vehicle and found the car battery completely dead, unlocked and car keys inside the vehicle. June 6th 2024, 273 days after my daughter bought the vehicle to her business, I contacted ******** Burrows and notified her legal action will be taken if she doesnt return my daughters car in the condition it was originally. She stated she will pay for the replacement battery since it is now dead and notify when to pick up the vehicle. Today is June 22nd ******************************************** the back lot of the business and no one has made contact with us since. My daughter has 3 young children and is left without a vehicle.Business response
