  I took my boat to Texas Marine Conroe on Oct 30 2024 for service and now 3 months later they still can not give me a completion date. Some communication the first month but now i have to call for status. They are clearly putting other service work ahead of my boat. The service adviser is a joke and full of made up excuses. I'm frustrated and at the point of picking my boat up to take it somewhere else. The BBB has them as a 1 star and a 1.3 review rating.BOATERS BEWARE!!!!

  If I could give Texas Marine/specifically *************************, sales manager negative stars, I would. If you want a boat that IMMEDIATELY falls apart & needs a new engine & then they ignore you for 10+ weeks & refuse to make it right, this is your place. This is a reoccurring problem with TM. We bought a 2015 ****** AR192 on 6/28/23. It was "thoroughly inspected by certified technicians" but that is not true. We went out on 7/4/23 for the first time. We rode maybe 2 mi from the launch and parked there for the day. Later we drove back to the launch to drop some friends. While still in the no wake zone leaving, the boat showed low oil pressure light. We opened the engine hatch to see the bottom covered in oil & the dry storage was also FLOODED with oil. We checked the oil dip stick to see there was still some oil left. We then realized that the oil filter was not screwed in & were able to carefully tighten it by hand. We brought the boat back to TM on 7/5/23 and it has been there since, 72 days+ while they try to file it under our warranty instead of paying for the damage caused with neglect from service department. They said the seal was destroyed bc it was ****** tightened w/ the service department before we brought it home. This destroyed the engine. ***** reached out to us for the 1st time on 8/23 after the boat had been there 56 days. He told us he would get everything handled & keep in contact. We have since been passed along then are ignored. After MONTHS of lies we decided that we do not want the boat once the engine was fixed bc TM has a history of fixing bullet ********************** do not trust their work. ***** had ANOTHER sales rep reach out 16 days later to try & resell the boat consignment the price we paid & he would keep 10% which leaves us still owing on the loan. We were told by ***** that the boat is now worth more w/ new ********** alone not refunding almost $10k down payment & almost 3 notes we have now paid on a boat we had for 7 days..

  Bought a new boat in 2021 from Texas Marine. The motor had issues immediately. Brought the boat back for service and it took 6 weeks to get the boat back. Recently brought it in for a recall and extended warranty work. They have had it 10 weeks. We have called and emailed about the status. Emails go unanswered and calls are vague about the progress. They finally said we could pick it up and bring it back when the parts come in. We had no idea the boat had been sitting near the highway in the hot sun for 2 months with the seats fading. This dealership's communication is poor. We were also sold an extended warranty that "covered everything" according to their business manager, when in fact, it covers very little.

  It seems there were some mis-steps in communication along the way with this matter, which we seem to be in the process of identifying and resolving for the both of you. Looks like we have been able to get things back on track. Thank you both for your patience and understanding. We look forward to serving you currently and in the future as a trusted source of service once again...as always, that is our ultimate goal here.
