On 02/05/2024 I went to Smilepoint Dental for the first time to get a general checkup and cleaning done. While there they said that I needed some additional services in which I had agreed to and set a date to have the services completed and paid for said services of $1,034.00. On 02/06/2024 I came back to the office to have the services completed in which I was told I did need need all of them which would result in a refund of $445.00. They had promised me a refund after submitting paperwork to their off shore billing department. I called on 02/21/2024 after not receiving A refund and was calling to check on it. I was assured that the paperwork could be processed and I would receive a refund. On 2/22/2024 I received a voicemail stating that there was a submission being processed for a refund. On 03/13/2024 I spoke with them again and was told the manager would be reviewing my case, and I would hear back from them. On 03/19/2024 I filed a dispute with my credit card regarding the charge as I still have not received a refund. The communication between myself and the company has been aggravating and has resulted in no outcome. I would not recommend this company for any work done since they steal your money. Promissing refund after refund and blaming it on an off shore billing company for no refund.
