Entergy is the most unprofessional, unethical, irresponsible, neglectful energy company in existence. I hate that there isn't an option to cancel their service and get actual service with a literate company. They lie, the website provides inaccurate information and the customers suffer with no rights, no methods in place to fix their errors we just suffer. Imagine getting a due date for a bill and Entergy not honor that due date and out of spite and no professionalism disconnect services 4 days before the actual due date and refuse to return services even after balance is paid. I hate entergy and hope they lose their ability to abuse and bully customers as they do now.

We have lost power 19 times since December 1, 2023. Numerous complaints have been put in with Entergy with no correction of the issue. Customer service has been great and so empathic and helpful with the complaints but no one higher up has addressed the obvious problem. I am sure this is costing Entergy much more band-aiding the problem than fixing the issue that is causing the reoccurring outages. Entergy is the only provider in our area so I have no choice on power provider or I would absolutely switch. A complaint has also been filed with the a public Utilities Commission.

Worst electricity company ever. They price gauge their customers, and they lie and cheat to get every penny out of your wallet. During the hurricane even though we had no electricity they still charged us for service. This company needs to be shut down for its predatory tactics. Will report to the BBB. Stay away from them.

I transferred service on Monday, via the app. I come home yesterday 7/17 to power being disconnected at new home. Was told several stories on why it was disconnected but that it would be back on the same day. Call 2 hours later for an estimate and was told it wouldn’t be until 7/18. I ask to speak with a manger and was told speaking with management would cause my power to be out until Monday 7/22. I took my chances and spoke with ***** in management. He said my work order was put in for 7/17 but the system has a cutoff time and so my connection would roll until 7/18. Well here we are almost 6 pm on 7/18 and still no power. ******** assured me it would definitely be on by 5 pm. Spoke with *****, (she’s the sweetest lady) said it would be today but can’t give me a time. This has made my move horrible. This is not ok Entergy!! You sure kept my deposit but don’t want to give me service.

It has been several days since hurricane Beryl hit, We still have no power and have witnessed Entergy working only in the wealthiest communities and ignoring the hardest hit areas. It is costing myself and my neighbors $150.00 per day to run generators and several elderly folks have had to vacate their homes due to the negligence of this business. Needless to say, the fuel costs cannot be recovered. The loss of food and access to the area around us is simply wrong. We see Entergy trucks parked in parking lots not doing any work at all. Shame on you Entergy.

Entergy review I live in Crystal Beach, TX and recently we were affected by Hurricane Beryl. Like most, after the storm hit we lost power. In a time when everything was uncertain, Entergy was great at communicating with their customers. After the storm passed, they immediately posted damage assessments for each area affected. This included exactly how many feet of downed lines, poles, cross arms and transponders. Entergy posted updates twice a day which included what repairs were completed the day and night before and what would be completed by 10pm that day. We were able to make plans and set expectations based on these accurate, detailed reports. In addition, they managed to meet every deadline they committed promised to their customers. I am very impressed with how transparent Entergy was and with so much of their power distribution network damaged, how quickly they restored power.

Worst company ever, you would be better off powering your house with a bicycle. Raised my thermostat by 12 degrees for the summer weather and my bill still more than doubles? That makes alot of sense. $150 fuel charge? Not to mention us paying a portion of every one of the company's random bills.

We pay a surcharge for storm repair services and infrastructure improvements, yet every time a gentle breeze blows we lose power and it takes hours to days to get it back on. One can only assume all the extra fees are going directly to some executive's bonus. Bill goes up every year and service gets worse every year. Plus the brown-outs and surges that fry all our electronics.
