Dear Better Business Bureau,I am writing to file a complaint against Tire Service Center of Bedford regarding a 2019 *** 530i. The vehicle experienced a coolant leak issue and was towed to Tire Service Center for repair. Initially, the shop claimed to have identified and fixed the problem. However, just a week later, the same coolant leak issue resurfaced, but this time, the coolant had leaked into the engine, causing the car to shut off. It had to be towed to the shop once again.Tire Service Center stated that they had never encountered such an issue before and, after inspecting the vehicle, decided to send it to **************** dealer for further evaluation. Shockingly, the dealer determined that the entire engine needed to be replaced because of the coolant leak into the engine.Despite having a 1-year warranty on their repairs, Tire Service Center refused to refund the payment for the initial repair and denied any wrongdoing on their part. They insisted that I should bear the cost of the engine replacement, which the dealer quoted at a staggering $30,000 for a new engine. I had requested that the car remain at the dealer for repairs, but instead, it was towed back to Tire Service Center and currently sits there.It is my belief that Tire Service Center's initial repair attempt resulted in significant damage to the engine, which ultimately led to the need for a complete engine replacement. I am deeply dissatisfied with their refusal to take responsibility and their unwillingness to honor their warranty. I feel that they are responsible for the substantial financial burden I now face due to the engine replacement.I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter and ensuring that Tire Service Center of Bedford takes appropriate action to rectify the situation.
