In 2020 I found a car online that was being sold by Atlas muscle cars out of ********** Texas. It was a very nice old car that needed to be restored so I flew from my home in ******** to Texas to meet the owner of the business and to look at the car. We made a deal and I purchased the car it had to be a complete restoration which is what their business specializes in meaning they had to take everything apart and completely restore the vehicle inside and out including the transmission and engine. I waited around six months to receive the car. I paid the asking price of the owner of Atlas muscle cars $114,900. He assured me that the car would be professionally done and then completely show quality if not better shape than when it was originally manufactured. The car was a 1968 ***** *******. I asked him for a Hemi engine which was a $40,000 upgrade but I paid that as well again he assured me that everything was done by professionals. When he finished I drove from ******** took a trailer to pick up the car when I got there the car looked beautiful no defects that I could see it all except for a minor oil leak that he assured me was just residual oil from a leak they had already repaired. I took the car home. I immediately started having oil leaks. After putting only 1100 miles on the car I had to have the engine pulled out and completely rebuilt. It was leaking oil everywhere all the gaskets were failing. It cost me $20,000 almost to have this process done it took a year-and-a-half to be completed. The day that I picked the car up from the engine shop I noticed the paint was starting to Bubble. Spots all over the car for starting to have bubbles in them. I called the owner of Atlas muscle cars and he told me that it's not under warranty that he's not responsible. I told him I would seek legal help to try to reclaim the money I needed to fix the car. His exact words were people have tried it before and lost good luck don't ever call me again..
