      A company came out to assess our AC issue, gave ** an opinion as to the issues cause and an option to fix the issue (a part needs to be ordered). They charged ** a diagnostic fee and left leaving ** in a warm home until said part becomes available. This visit in addition to recent experiences with this company lead ** to not trust them very much. The only reason we called them is that the thermostat, installed by them, appeared to be the issue. We wanted them to work on the thermostat since it is still under warranty. MKC Solutions was called for a second opinion. They diagnosed the same issue as the other company; however, for a charge less than the other companys diagnostic fee, MKC both diagnosed the issue AND rewired the system (we have a dual heat pump system) so that we could use the thermostat and air conditioner as a temporary fix until a needed part can be ordered and installed. MKC is who we will be calling for future HVAC issues. ******, who provided our service today, is very personable and efficient.
