Hello my name is ***********************, driver number 434. Im contacting you because I worked for Jet Couriers Corporation from the *************** location. My issue is as follows: On Sunday 7/9/22 my truck broke down with serious suspension issues. Even though I wasnt currently in a Jet Couriers work day I still immediately contacted my manager *************************** from the ************ to (1) ask for assistance in a tow, and (2) make him aware that my truck is inoperable and Ill be down for a while. After that I had my truck towed to a shop for repairs and ************* the estimate/invoice for repairs for transparency through this. I also have had numerous phone conversations and text msgs with **** regarding repairs and return. Today 7/14/22 **** called me to inform me that until my truck returns to work that he will be deducting $500 from my upcoming payment. I obviously disputed this and tried to inform **** thats not fair, it will hurt me financially especially with my upcoming repairs, and the contract I signed didnt state that if I break down I will be penalized outside of the agreed $300 per day being available gaurantee. **** then stated to me that he will agree to pay me my full amount, but doesnt like my tone and Im being terminated! This is unfair and unethical. Until this happened I was available and on time to EVERY job they sent to me.. No matter what. Now payday has come and gone. **** has now told me I will be paid NOTHING. I drive my truck to every job, including being sent all the way to ********* to pick up loads for this company! Used my money for fuel, put miles on my truck, and gave my time to be paid NOTHING? 4 full days of work for NOTHING? Im sure $300 per day for 4 days and theyre refusing to pay me. The company was paid for my work, the dispatchers were paid, the customers recieved theyre goods, Im the person that made the deliveries and I want to be paid for them. Ive file suit, and theyll be summoned but Im looking to resolve
