      Feb 28 I went to KWIK KAR for an oil change in my Yaris. I paid $63.29.The car made ************ pressure light came on. KWIK KAR employees came to my car, replaced oil filter, and added oil. They checked for leakage, had me rev the engine, and advised me to take the car to ******* Diesel (aka ***** ***** to make sure no damage had been done. I drove again, heard the noise, and the car died. I parked it and called KWIK KAR. Mar 1 ************ took my car to ******* Diesel. Mar 2 I spoke to ********, heard the cost to repair would be $4100, was told ***** would not start repair until I gave the go-ahead, and I asked KK to pay rental car costs. They refused to pay for a rental. Mar 3 I asked ** to give me the offer in writing, I gave them my email address, and I told them I did not want the $4100. Mar 6 I still had no offer in my inbox. I called KK and the manager *** said owner **** had told him to have ***** replace the engine. I rented a car Mar. 6 so I could take my daughter to her appointments. Mar. 6 I called ***** and they gave me information about the engine. Mar. 8 I called KK to check on the car repair progress. Manager *** said it might be done Friday or Saturday. I gave him another chance to pay for a car rental, and he refused again. I have not had the use of my car for over a week. Renting a car is expensive. I have children to take care of. They have obligations and appointments. I have things I need to do that require transportation.
