I went in for my free cleaning after skipping only 1 visit. After waiting nearly 2 hours to be seen, I was told that I needed some sort of "special" cleaning" that would cost hundreds of dollars, as opposed to being free. They claimed I hadn't been in the office in almost two years, which simply wasn't true.I brush my teeth twice a day, and while I'm not always consistent with flossing, the idea that my teeth needed some $400 sand-blasting treatment after only skipping one visit seemed asinine.College Station Modern Dentistry, and more specifically Dr. *********************** made me feel embarrassed of my teeth, and I regularly brush and have had braces so I have relatively straight teeth as well. No one who is coming to your office should leave feeling embarrassed for trying to take control of their dental health. I can only imagine how those who feel deeply insecure about their teeth feel whenever they visit this office.Additionally because of how they constantly pressure you and try to upsell you on things that you most likely do not need -- they have made me feel extremely hesitant to even seek out ANY dental work in the future. In conclusion, going to the dentist should not make anyone feel ashamed, nor should you feel as if you're dealing with used car salesmen.
