    "I contracted *** ***** to make improvements to my backyard. I provided with a check of $8,466.31 for materials and to start project. While working on this project, he recommended to place special drain to garden to prevent flood for the cost of $4,000 (I gave him the check), then he found "A concerning flood' at our house foundation and recommended repair and I gave him a check for $4,500. At the beginning this person looks trustful, even I mentioned to him at some point I would like to change my hardwood floor inside my house and wired money to his partner $3,500. *** ***** instead of doing all this just constructed a poor quality #2 pergolas, delayed materials and didn't instructed his employees about the goal of the project. The other projects were not done. "

    *** ******* came into the BBB Abilene office and informed us that TJ's construction had contacted him directly and made him promises but no real answers. Consumer said TJ's then did not follow through on the promises.

    Paid TJ Construction 2550.00 sent via cash app to desired account "******* *****". We signed a contract to complete the sodding of the front and back yard with zoysia grass. The sod sat out for days before being installed. It is dead and will not grow because it is actually not zoysia grass which is meant to grow well in shade. It is Bermuda. Additionally, the awning was built and we paid for materials for the job. There is some damage to the structure of the home. ** also promised to maintain the yard for 90 days after sodding. He has not been out to do that and of course the grass is dead. I have reached out multiple times. ** continues to make promises but has yet to repair the damage. I had more grass in the front yard prior to the sodding.

    Contract signed. 7/13/03 for Sprinkler system install. payed $3700.00 deposit and $6000.00 when they told me they were finished. system was not installed as requested there was no electrical box installed, instead the installed a system that runs on double A batteries this system can not do the job. TJ Construction will not answer my calls to come back and correct this issue and has failed to follow weekly maintenance for 90 days as was promised. I want system to work as I was told it would or enough money back to get issues resolved through another company.
