    On November 27th, 2022 my husband fueled up his 2020 Dodge **** pickup at pump #4 with diesel at the 7-Eleven store at *************************************************************************************** #*****. The pump shut off at $74.00 at 3/4 of a tank which was odd and it didn't print a receipt. We then drove 6 blocks home and parked the truck for the day. The next morning as soon as we start the truck there was a warning about water in the fuel. We drove it to the Dodge dealership in Corpus and they had it for 2 days. The bill came to $1915.07. I reported it to the store that day (Nov. 28th). They turned in an incident report of IN*****-Cor-2022-0002. I was told that day that I'd hear back in ***** hours. I never heard a thing. I kept going in the store where we purchased the fuel and talking to the assistant manager. She would always say there's nothing more she could do and kept giving me more numbers to call. I then got tired of that run around and filed a complaint on their website. They didn't like that I guess. I was called to come in and file another incident report on February 18th, 2023. That incident number is IC10008049685 and again I should hear something in ***** hours. I heard nothing. The assistant manager sent me a screen shot of someone else to contact that day so I emailed ***************************** @ ******.********@Sedgwickcms.com.HE FINALLY RESPONDED! He sent me some paperwork to fill out and I sent it right back on February 20th, 2023. He said in an email that for some reason the 1st claim was coded incorrectly and it never got routed to him. On February 28th, 2023, ****** emailed me and said that they are moving forward with a liability denial. His investigation says that there was no evidence of water being present in the diesel tanks at that location. They also said that the "store leader" tested the pumps after the complaint and that there were no other complaints from that location. There is hardly ever a "store leader" at that store.
