At Stinger Auto Sales we pride ourselves on selling good running, clean used cars and trucks. If we find a driveability or safety issue during our initial inspection, the problem is fixed before we sell the vehicle period.
If the problem is not repairable we *********** not put it on the market. Many cosmetic issues and a good cleaning is done to all vehicles before we put them for sale.Unfortunately, it is impossible for us to predict what will happen with a used vehicle in the future. All used vehicles sold are strictly on an AS-IS basis with NO Warranty expressed or implied. The customer signed a contract stating that they understood this fact before leaving with the vehicle.

The Dodge Durango in question had zero issues with the transmission or any driveability problems the entire time it was in our posession. All customers are free to have an independent shop/mechanic inspect the vehicle before purchase.

Due to these aforementioned policies and facts, we are unable to give a refund on this or any vehicle. A persons age, ethnicity, or gender has zero effect on our policy or intent and we strongly object to such accusations.

I am rejecting this response because: i still don't feel the owner was honest the next day i got in the car after buying it the check engine light came on the owner told me it was a sensor and he would order the sensors and have his mechanic to replace them. Yes he ordered the sensors but its mighty funny the day my sensors come in and were supposed to get pit on he claimed him and his mechanic had a fight which i didn't believe. I took it to my mechanic and he stated it was something with the caddilac convertor being cloggeg which is triggering the transmission he noticed my back breaks were out so i had to pay $160 to get them dine for the safety of my children and I. All i asked is if I cant get a refund can the owner replace the 2014 dodge durango with something else for the same price...I spent my last money with the owner **** thinking I had a honest person. I had a certain limit in my car to take off he even took me to his bank to see if i can take off the money and to other places trying to get the money off my card which i don't think was professional at all...

    Regards,

We are sincerely apologetic to the customers dissatisfaction, however, as stated in the warranty disclaimer of the Buyers Order that was signed and given a copy of to the customer on the day of purchase:

"Unless Seller provides a written warranty, or enters into a service contract within 90 days from the date of this contract, this vehicle is being sold 'as is with all faults' and Seller makes no warranties, express or implied, on the vehicle, and there will be no implied warranties of merchantability or of fitness for a particular person."

Further more, as stated in the Buyers Guide that was also signed and given a copy to the customer on day of purchase:

"AS-IS NO DEALER WARANTY: The dealer does not provide warranty for any repairs after sale"

Due to these aforementioned policies and facts, we are unable to give a refund or trade on this vehicle.

A persons age, ethnicity, or gender has zero effect on our policy or intent and we strongly object to such accusations.

I am rejecting this response because: The owner knew what was wrong with the vehicle before selling it. He did not explain to me that their were major issues the only thing i was told was to make sure both front doors were closed good before driving or the truck would stop i was never told anything else about the vehicle. I feel like my money was stolen from me and my kids and the owner just put us in a vehicle that could of caused my kids and my life. I wasn't given a chance to see if I wanted a warranty the box was already checked when I signed not knowing. Even when I went back the next day to show the owner the engine light had came on and were suppose to replace my sensors but he didnt. I felt I got done wrong just so you can make some money that could of cause me and my kids life so therefore I will not give up I will do whatever I have to do because you're wrong and you know you're wrong ****!!! Look at the review page its a few females got done the same way and a few males that the owner sold lemon cars too. I will fight for this for as long as I can because at the end of the day you lied and was wrong for selling me a $9000 vehicle that could of killed me and my kids.
