We purchased a Brand new 2024 Chevrolet Traverese from ******** Chevrolet in Boerne Tx in October 2024. After putting only ***** miles on the car it leaves me stranded on the side of the highway. The car had to be towed to a local dealership. This is where another issue began . The dealership leaves no open line of communication. They say they are going to call us back . They never do. After leaving voicemail, going in person. It took them two whole weeks to tell us that they are awaiting on a part but could not tell us what the part was for or an estimated arrival day. Today I finally got ahold of someone for them to tell us they have to reorder the part because its on back order. They also put us in a rental that does not fit our entire family. We are paying a ridiculous amount a month for a vehicle that is not in our possession. To top this all of we are learning these vehicles have known common issues that are leaving people for MONTHS without a vehicle. There should be a recall on this. We want the situation rectified asap. We buy brand new so these issues do not occur.Business Response

Thank you for your inquiry. Chevrolet provides parts and availability has been an issue. We at the dealership level do not control parts availability. If you would like to discuss a buyback with Chevrolet, you can reach them at ************. We at the dealership will continue with the current process and await the part arrival. Rental coverage is provided by Chevrolet warranty at $35 per day. Any upgrades in vehicle size would be additional charge paid to the rental company, paid for by the customer.Initial Complaint

the date of transaction was Sept 30th. i took my 1996 ***** corvette to sell to this biusness and after a 40 minute inspection including a vehicle drive by shop inspector was offered an offer of 8500 dollars which i said i would accept 9000. Salesperso ***** ******* agreed. i had to run errands and returned 30 minutes later upon which no one in the buisess would talk to me. i left Autonation. My vehicle was towed to the facility on October 16, 2023 due to vehicle will not start. The facility has not provided any information about why my vehicle is not working. I called several times and visited the facility to obtain information as to why my vehicle is not working. I have not received responses from several voicemail that have been left with my Tech advisor **. On 11/4/2023 spoke to Manager who assured me that my issue would be addressed. I provide my contact information and my extended warranty provider information as well. I advised the manager if the warranty does not cover the issue to, please provide a quote to have the vehicle fixed. As of today 11/8/2023 no one has contacted me and will not provide any assistance. I would appreciate any assistance with obtaining the status of my vehicle. My contact number is ************. I generally do not file complaints, but it has been hard not having a vehicle and this is the worst customer service I have ever received. I bought a new vehicle 2 weeks ago that came with Window tint and it was stated on the window sticker that it had window tint. The salesperson then added $400 to add window tint to my contract, eve though it already had window tint. I called and spoke to a manager who argued with me that it didn't have window tint till I said it was on the window sticker, then he said well they could tint it again. I don't want it tinted again, I want the $400 back for a service that was never provided, cause it had tint already. Also note that the sales person never told me he was adding tint to my bill and I never authorized it.Business Response

I bought a used car from this place, I waited 2-3 weeks to even test drive it, I signed the contract and the next day a check engine light came on, it was the catalytic converter they said they wouldnt fix it, even though I still had the 5 day warranty. After that my steering wheel would have to be at an angle for it to drive straight only for the steering wheel to shift back into place by itself as I drove causing me to swerve, if I went above 40 mph the car would shake and Id have to slow down almost to a stop as well. Towards the end of February still within the 1st month of having it, it does on me and refuses to turn on, I had to call in from work and have it towed to the dealership only to get a call a couple days later by an advisor who didnt know what was wrong with my car and yet submitted my paperwork as a blown head gasket when she was well aware of my gap not covering that, from February-June 2nd I waited and still kept making payments on a car I could not drive due to the engine blowing up, not once was I called about the eta for the new engine instead I was called on Tuesday morning after Memorial Day to be told the car was ready and good to drive, I had to pull out a $600 loan only to be told by the mechanic that the car keeps dying on him, I was told it was just missing fluid several hrs later they chnage it to the timing belt/crankshalf in the new engine is broken, now I am once again left with no answers no results and a broken car that I am stuck having to pay for, I spoke to the manager and he told me he wouldnt give me any money back and that my cars value even went downInitial Complaint

03-26-22 I purchased 2013 **** Escape from AutoNation Chevrolet North with a ***** down payment. The same exact day the vehicle was giving me problems so I drove it back too the car lot , the manager *** came out too see what was going on . He attempted too fix the issue , he did so I left . On 04-02-22 the vehicle was throwing out **** smoke so I drove it too dealership again and *** the manager exact words were thats nothing to worry about take it home . So I went home , I got three different opinions about the grey smoke and was told it might be an issue with the engine. I then scheduled a service appointment and dropped off my vehicle on 4-25-22 it is now 5-23-22 and I still havent got my vehicle back . This entire month my vehicle has been in the shop I have not once received a phone call too know whats going on with my car , I have too repeatedly call too speak with someone about my car. My first car payment was due on the 5-15-22 , ****** too pay plus ****** for insurance too pay on a vehicle I dont even have in my possession. Nowhere on the contract did it state the vehicle had any engine issues , I was told the vehicle was up to date on all the mechanic work . Im am a 25 year old single mother of a 2 year old who goes too a sitter , has dentist , and cardiologist checkups , I gave them my last *****$ too put my son and I in a reliable vehicle and all they did was sell us a car that was out of shape and could of put my son and I in danger while driving . I need yalls help too help me resolve the issue and too see what my next steps should be .
