      I purchased a vehicle from this company: Corpus Christi Auto **** I put $4,000 as a down payment per their request. Ive had nothing but serious issues since I left the lot. They said they would get a new battery for the vehicle they sold me and never did. They stated they had no mechanic to fix my car. My engine just blew out and I have had only had the vehicle for less than a month. Ive called to see if they can resolve and said they said no. The car they sold to me was as is.

      We ordered a battery for the customer and she never came in to pick up and get installed we placed numerous calls to the customer and never any response this was done as a courtesy..Customer did not keep her scheduled payments and broke several promise to pay then we get a call the the vehicle is at the mall to go get it and when we recovered the vehicle upon inspection we found a hole in the block and now needs a new motor .our vehicles are equipped with gps that that can show ** where the car has been so we have proof the vehicle was being driven daily to different towns even as the customer was complaining about a battery...I will say again we did tell the customer to bring in the vehicle for a new battery install.

      I am rejecting this response because: the business response is full of inaccurate details. No one from AutoMax Corpus Christi ever called me. In fact, I called them numerous times and was left on hold, hung up on or told there was nothing they can do to help me. Also, the vehicle they sold me was NEVER picked up from the mall. They picked up my vehicle at my residence in ******, ***** which I have video footage of. I also have proof that they never once tried to find a resolution to this problem. They took my down payment and sold me a defective vehicle. I also made all of my payments, which I have proof of as well. Theoretically speaking, if I missed a payment, they wouldve shut my car off. But, as they responded that my car was supposedly being driven everywhere that concludes I didnt miss any payments. If you go to this business page on ******* you will see that I am not their only victim. This place has been stealing from innocent people and selling them cars that shouldnt be being sold. Im not sure how they are still open.

      She was complaining of a battery as she stated at the start and even though we sold the vehicle "as is"  which she understood and signed to that regard we ordered a new one for her which she never picked up we have documented calls of ** calling her so she could come in which she never did and again we have gps documents showing the vehicle going from town to town daily we got the vehicle back with a hole in the motor this was not a pre-existing problem if the vehicle was so bad why not bring the vehicle back immediately?  The facts are we have a vehicle with a hole in the motor and was not sold that way she destroyed our collateral but we do not have a problem helping her if she pays for the repairs we did not sell the vehicle this way.

      I am rejecting this response because: this business will not take accountability for taking my down payment and selling me a vehicle with numerous issues. The battery was the first issue. Now they continue to blame me for engine having a hole but do not want to take accountability for selling me a vehicle where the engine was already shot. When will they sit down and take accountability? Which other business do you know will continue pointing fingers at their customers instead of making it right? They sold me a vehicle with black transmission fluid, a battery that didnt even fit the car and a bad engine. I have record of all these things. We can sit here all day and go back and forth. But I will not let CC Auto *** sit here and blame a messed up car on me. I began calling and texting them about the car leaving me stranded and me having to do things for this vehicle the minute I left the lot. I will attach pictures of text messages for the battery and you can see clearly not once did they respond. So Im done with the false accusations. Please see attached text messages and video of many other reviews about this dealership. Thank you.

      On Friday oct 21, 2022. Corpus Christi automax. Told me I was full of broken promises after i have been paying them for a whole year for car payments. I put $3,000 down on the vehicle and another $7,000 in payments this past year. They told me I wasnt paying on time when I pay the same amount every week since getting this car. And when I asked them what made me different between me and a ******** owner they told me they could pick and choose who they would let slide and did not like me complaining at all so from here on out they were going to try to repossess my vehicle the owners name is ******* and his wifes name is Belen or ******* They are both Victoria ***** and do not have customer service or care involved in their vehicle sales they sold me a vehicle which lights burned out two weeks after I purchased it they also told me that if I go to fix it and mess with the *** they were repossessed the vehicle they are just trying to repossess a vehicle when I only have 14 months left on my contract
