    One trip to Stewart Toyota and you'll quickly be reminded of why people don't like car dealers. I called them first thing this morning to check on a used vehicle they had listed online. Took about 20 minutes of calling them to finally get some one on the phone, but he was nice. I asked if the vehicle I was interested in was available because I'm about a two hour drive away. He asked me to hold so he could go put his hands on the keys to be sure it was. He returned after minute to confirm that it was and I told him I was on the way and would be there within 2 hours. When I arrived 2 hours later at the dealership I was greeted by the gentleman I spoke with on the phone. He stepped away to retrieve the keys to the vehicle I was there to purchase. After several minutes him and what I can only assume was his boss, returned to tell me that the vehicle was currently being sold to someone else, so sorry. I was a bit stunned but asked if the other person was there before I called this morning, to which they replied no. So not only were they selling the vehicle out from under me that I had driven 2 hours to purchase, they didn't bother to give me a courtesy call before I arrived to tell me not to waste the rest of my gas and time.Once again I find myself amazed and disgusted by car dealers who only care about themselves and making a quick buck at the expense of others. 4 hours and 250 miles for nothing. Well, back to only buying from private sellers, thanks for the painful reminder guys!
