November 2024 I called to cancel my membership. They said I HAD to come in person to cancel I did so and they said they could freeze my membership. February 2025 the freeze is up For the past week, I have gone in at 3pm (after work and only time I can due to living an hour away from business) They have been closed everytime. Even though their hours online say 6am-9pm. This has made it impossible for me to cancel my membership.According to the ************************* (***) businesses have to have a click-to-cancel policy. Club Pilates does not. They are in no way making it easy for me to cancel my membership easily. I told them when I tried to cancel the first time that it was too expensive for me and here I am not being able to cancel a membership I dont want anymore.

I am writing to address a significant discrepancy in the account cancellation process that I experienced. In November, I initiated a request to cancel my account, during which the representative assisting me suggested freezing the account to avoid potential new registration fees in the event of a future decision to rejoin. While I agreed to this suggestion, at no point was I informed that should I choose to proceed with cancellation, I would be required to cancel the freeze, reactivate the account, and endure an additional month's charge until officially requesting cancellation in March.Upon my visit to the facility on March 10th to cancel my membership, I was directed to speak with the manager the following Monday after 2pm to address this issue. Subsequently, during my conversation with the manager on March 11th, I was informed that the location was under new management and that any fee waivers would necessitate Corporate review. The manager indicated that she would provide a resolution by Wednesday, March 13th, before the next draft date. However, despite these assurances, I have yet to receive any follow-up regarding a resolution.Additionally, I attempted to escalate the matter through the corporate website, but unfortunately, my message was redirected to the local facility without any further response. This lack of communication and failure to address my concerns in a timely manner is highly disappointing and unacceptable.Pilates neglected to provide transparent and comprehensive information regarding all costs and consequences associated with account cancellation. Had I been fully informed of the cancellation process and its implications, I would have chosen to cancel my account at that time. Presently, I am receiving notifications of a past due payment of $249, yet no one has reached out to me to resolve this matter as promised. My most recent phone call 4/1/24 and letter to management dated 4/1/24 still remain unanswered. Thank you.
