I have storm damage from the big storm on 5/27. Im on the third floor, the roof over my main restroom shower collapsed. It has yet to be fixed. (As well as NONE of my request from the move in date have been touched, yet alone fixed) I continue getting the next week itll be fixed answer. Its hard to find anybody in the office or to answer the phone which keeps me from being on time to my second job, having to wait around for someone to show up. Also I moved in on April 8th. I was told that the admin fee and application fee would be applied to my first month rent. This being that the ladies working in the office at THAT time told me to apply so they wouldnt give the apt away. Ive gone twice a week all month long to get that reflected on my 3rd month. June rent. Same answer , Ill fix it today. It is now the 2nd , it has not been fixed. It actually went up $750 for idk what reason since I cant get a hold of them.Initial Complaint

They are very professional here at south pointe Apartments. They sit around eating tacos and hot Cheetos while the hot water is constantly on and off. There is black mold and sitting water. There are homeless people breaking into vacancies and living their best life. There are busted windows everywhere and homeless people break into peoples cars in broad daylight. They refuse to answer the office phone anymore its been off for 6months now. To top it off when you do go to front office theyre in there having a party gossiping and eating like this is easy money the whole apartment complex needs to be burnt to the ground. To add to that we havent had a/c in 3years, so we bought a unit. *** never lived like this before. The only reason Im still here is because Im man pays all the bills and this is his apartment but my credit score is ******************************************************* my place until my husband says its time to move. However I dont mind sending in a complaint because this is disgusting and uninhabitable. Sounds like a lawsuit to me. What you think ?Initial Complaint

Im reporting EsreyCohen owner of SouthPointe Apartments charging me $50.00 for not sending an additional copy of my renters insurance declaration page after my insurance company Progressive mailed them a copy prior to the new billing cycle. I spoke with a ********************* representative this morning and she assured me it was mailed to the correct address and the mail was not returned to sender. SouthPointe apartments changes office staff frequently and its a great possibility this mail was misplaced or mishandled. I would like my $50.00 refunded back to my bank account asap.Customer Answer

This the monthly billing statement from SouthPointe apartments. If you look at the charges it doesnt mention insurance charges. PolicyTXL1216520 renewed on 04/07/24. On page 2 of the policy it shows the office received a copy of the renewal on February 6, 2024. Progressive said no returned mail from SouthPointe Apartments ***********************************. Ive been living in this apartment since 2018 and have seen office staff come and go like revolving doors. This looks suspicious.Customer Answer

I'm having a multitude of issues with my current residency, South Pointe Apartments unit *****. I have documented evidence of all issues mentioned. Upon moving in, I noticed a high population of squatters whom robbed me the day of move in. I have a police report of all items stolen. The night of 12/31/23 I had an emergency maintenance request for my door that would not lock or unlock. I received no response for 2 days. I had to contact the property management company to get in touch with emergency maintenance twice. The maintenance came and did a temporary fix and they have yet to come back as of 1/11/24 despite emails stating that maintenance would be coming. There's a half inch gap with visibility in and out of the apartment between my door and the frame. This isn't the only security violation, the community hasn't had a working gate to properly secure the community since moving in, there's no security cameras on property, the lights around the community haven't work since moving in and the community is completely pitch dark at night and you can't see 2 feet in front of you. The apartment next door to the one below mine is flooding and I first noticed it and documented it on 12/29/23. I informed the apartments in writing of the apartment flooding on 1/2/24. The apartment is still flooding as of 1/11/2024 and the door is completely ajar allowing for me to see into the apartment and the entire ceiling has caved in and fell through. The apartment next to me (628), the apartment below me (617), and the apartment next to the one below me (618) are all vacant and occupied by squatters. I don't feel safe at these apartments as a female living alone in this crime invested area. Nothing has been done to secure the apartments for my safety, other resident's safety, nor the safety of the community. DATE OF INCIDENT 08/24/2023 The South Point apartment complex towed my vehicle which i have paid covered parking #*** They put in a new policy and they did not inform me of the changes and they enforced it The amount of 205 dollars of loss has happened to me in getting my vehicle back ************** usually informs me via email of policy changes for renters insurance and lease and valet trash and patio cleaning and Towing and parking They are saying they posted it in South point portal of the policy change which i am not aware of and which 90% of residents dont see or know about.I would need to be reimbursed for the above amount asap . Our lease states trash pick up is Sunday through Thursday but for the past years we have taken our own thrash to the dumpster after notifying the office multiple times of thrash being left by door over night causing flies, and stray animals problems I even have emails of notification
