Not all the engines Bolt On Motors sell are inspected. I received an engine that didn't even **** 30 psi when doing a compression test. My mechanic had to uninstall the engine and reinstall a second engine provided which meant a double charge for labor from the mechanic shop. When I asked about splitting the extra cost because of their bad engine **** denied my request and tried to give me 200 dollars store credit. Be aware they'll will just price your next engine 200 dollars more so there's no real discount. I tired to resolve the is*** through my credit card company but received a threatening voicemail from Bolt On Motors. I'll be happy to share it with anyone (see transcript below).The negative reviews are true, this place acts in bad faith. If I wanted to question the quality of the motors, I would have gone to a junk yard. The website is filled with false advertisement claiming "quality used parts", "hand selected", and "fully inspected" but if you get a bad engine/part somehow that's just part of these types of transactions.
