Monday the 17th of October, at 12:20 pm. I took my car to get services, An the manager of kwik Kar name is ****** ***** , he took my car and said that he could have it ready by the end of that day. to not to worried. Well i left and went home and later that day around 4:57 p.m. I got a call from this guy saying? hey man your car won't be ready the time I gave you, it will be Wednesday. so ill give you a call from the once we get your car finished. Wednesday come and i haven't heard nothing from the place! so Thursday passed and still nothing, Friday here and i give them a called and he started to make up story about ******** **** won't release over parts to them, or they don't have there permits, and it will be next week so don't ******* worry about the car. it will get fix....called me on his personal cell phone and cussed me out. then sunday the 23th, i went to the business after hours, it was pouring down raining, they had a black plastic bag covering up my drivers window and rain got inside my car seats and dash and door switches was all wet up. so I called up to the store Monday morning, as ****** ***** the manager of that kwik kar informed me there was nothing he was going to do about it and that it wasn't his **** concern. So I asked him who was the owner of this business and could I please have the information to let him know, how bad my experience was. and he stated at he wasn't going to give me his **** information. My Mercedes sat behind the building for a week, an my car was vandalized.Initial Complaint

I drove my car in for repairs, the told me that they could fix my car by replacing the head on my vehicle and quoted me about 6,000 dollars, I started paying it off through a third-party financing company they offered and they called me back after a few days stating they cannot fix the problem, in fact they made it worse causing it to not start at all, said they cannot refund me. And asked for 5,000 more dollars for a new engine all together, or alternatively hand over my title with no compensation. I recently had towed the car out of the shop and when I received it, they put on the old parts back, keeping everything I had paid for.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2022/09/14) */ The customer came in with the vehicle not running, after running our tests on the vehicle , we recommended a replacement of the engine because we cannot foresee what damage was done internally, customer insisted on doing a top end rebuild instead and wanted to do the head gasket and timing chain repair to try to save money , we started by replacing Cylinder head gasket, timing chain . All parts were replaced and put on the vehicle. The finance option he chose to use has their own fees and dues, which he signed for knowingly. After replacing these parts, we we found out that the engine has internal issues as we said at the beginning prior to doing any repairs so we informed the customer that he needed a new motor as well, which was a separate issue. The customer declined and towed away his vehicle with the work that had been done to his cylinder head and timing chain. All work was completed that he had paid for. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2022/09/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) After they ran diagnosis they recommended replacing the top end rebuild to avoid purchasing and replacing a full engine, unaware that was even an option to just replace half an engine. They told me they could do it and would take a few days. A few weeks later they called stating they couldn't even get the car too start, and failing a compression test, then giving me the option to give them additional money for a replacement engine or signing my title over to the owner. After towing it away I discovered the car started after being told it would not start. The vehicle is in worse condition than it was upon arrival. As previously stated, The customer came in with the vehicle not running, after running our tests on the vehicle , we recommended a replacement of the engine because we cannot foresee what damage was done internally, customer insisted on doing a top end rebuild instead and wanted to do the head gasket and timing chain repair to try to save money. We did everything the customer had asked for. Ultimately, the customer needed extra work done to get his vehicle back in good shape. The customer declined our advances to help him fix the issues on his vehicle that he needed done. We gave him his vehicle back, as that is what he wanted. Kwik kar recommend a top rebuild after the first set of tests, and only recommend a full engine replacement for an additional 5000 dollars after calling to say they could not get my car started at all after attempting the first job,Giving me an ultimatum of purchasing a new engine or signing my title over to them. I came here for an oil change Saturday July 9th. I was told I needed more work done to my car. The extra work was not done correctly in result more problems have been made to the vehicle. They tried to cover up the job and put a broke part back on the car. They then gave me a faulty rental car. When I asked for a resolution to this or a another person to talk to. I was denied and asked to leave with my vehicle still there.
