They are rude. They don't honor their warranties. When your vehicle needs repair they give you a run around

Scam beware. They have been calling my husband from multiple different numbers even when we requested they stop. Its always the same woman speaking too. Their website is fake too. Hang up the phone, tell them you know they are a scam.

I called multiple times just to cancel I was held on the phone for 30 mins first time and the guy just kept talking asking the reason why I want to cancel and i clearly told him I decided on a better coverage. After talk that when I asked for a refund of the monthly payment he stated the first payment was non refundable which the refund and policy cancellation was the first thing I asked for so he purposely waited to tell me once he felt he said all he wanted. Also was odd that after I told them my payments for another company they matched it exactly. Worse thing to me honestly was the amount of info they had on me to get me to switch at first I thought it would be a good thing because all the benefits they listed but after reading reviews I quickly changed my mind. I also didnt like how I was hung up on multiple times and they had no department that directly handles billing all the lady kept saying was Ill put in a request its not up to me theyll review and give one if they decide. I was practically forced to decide right away when the first signed me up and kept saying they cant lock in the process if I call back next time. I shouldve followed my gut and said no

You would not have called Headstart for a cancel. That would have been who you bought the contract from. We just adjudicate the claims.

Water pump needed to be replaced. Shop had my vehicle for a few days so I inquired about the rental reimbursement. I was told that if the shop has my vehicle for more than 8 hours they would cover a rental for, $30 a day for up to 6 days. Had a rental for 3 days, submitted the claim for reimbursement.Called a few days later to check the status of the claim and was told that it would probably be denied because the labor was only 2.4 hours. At no time during the initial inquiry did the agent specify anything about labor hours. I was without my vehicle for 7 days. So on top of having to pay the full cost of the rental, the warranty company only paid part of my covered repairs. What I have learned is that the warranty company finds parts online that are the cheapest and then tells the mechanic that they have to order the parts. The price I paid for the covered repair was over $200 plus my deductible.

Total 38 days The policy was bought thru a company called ******. ****** used a company named head start warranty group to process claims.Head Start Warranty group is no longer used by Eleras. This is my first time using them. And my car has been I. The shop for a week now. And said they need ***** hours to review. Which I dod t know that. I dont remember seeing that on paperwork. I feel like Ive been taking. Advantage of and my car still there at the dealership and they said the dealership has to call them. When they do. Theya are on hold for at least 45 mins and never answer the phone. How am I supposed to get my cer fixed and. Need to get to work. They need to get up off their **** and call the hero themselves and tell their answer. I am not happy with them at all. This is t right and I have paid them for months. And the dealership said they wa stole they would approve it to be fixed but at the same time said they are still reviewing it. This has to stop and they need to get on it here. Im sick of it and very ticked off about this. Its been way past ***** hours. .

This is the most warranty company I've ever had. I'm not even sure when they changed the name. It was something else when I purchased. I've had a policy with them for almost 2yrs. I get somethings aren't covered. That's not the issue. My issue is getting to even get to the point to for a claim. My boyfriend's truck has been in the shop for 3 weeks. The shop, him, and even myself have been calling, calling, and calling the company to get an approve. Several days each we were on hold in access of an hour just to get sent to a voicemail with a full mailbox, hung up on, or told they didn't get it. When we finally got through they told us they didn't get the estimate from the shop. The shop resent it for the 2nd or 3rd time. Now back to the waiting/on hold game.A few more days they say they got it and are waiting for the claims adjuster to approve. Again back to waiting/on hold game. More and more days go by and still ********** of today 2/24/2025, the shop is now telling him, they need the space and he needs to pay or come get it. We've called my direct representative, the person that called me EVERYDAY until I made the decision to purchased. Now he doesn't answer calls or texts. Last week the office told me they were aware of the long wait for the adjusters and are working to fix it. They said they remember talking to my boyfriend several times and telling him about the hour wait for the adjuster each time. They said in the future they will be able to approve some of the smaller claims, but not yet. What about now? His truck in the shop for a water pump for 3 weeks wait is unacceptable. I've never seen anything like this.

If you have the name on the contract we can research and expedite. Also Headstart has not had a name change ever. I believe you are confusing who you purchased the contract through and Headstart. Headstart is the third party administrator.

I'm the name on the contract, ******* ******. We purchased through ******, now it's something else now. The same day I wrote in, we got a response. The repair was partially covered. From my understanding the water pump was the only thing covered. A hose (which is needed) along with labor wasn't covered. I'm confused on how labor and all necessary parts wouldn't be covered. The claim was only $800 and something and $300 and something was covered. Leaving us to pay $536.09. It's been a waste of time and money having this warranty. Is there something we can do to be refunded the $536.09 that was paid out?

I took my vehicle in for the Waterpump replacement due to bearing failure. I took it to ********************************* for the repairs due to other shops turning me away due to not being able to get through to the claim department. I took my Truck in on Monday February 17, 2025 and could not get a approval until Friday February 21 with the Repair shop calling everyday to be on hold for hours at a time. When i did get approval repairs the shop sent to them didn't get approved. And they would only approve a aftermarket waterpump leaving me to pay for a oem waterpump. I suppose to have a $100 ded as per my contract and i paid $593.90 out of my pocket while the warranty company only paid$664.30. I think this contract is no good but the paper it's wrote on. I'm very dissatified with this warranty company. Will be canceling as soon as they open.

Do not agree to give anything out to this company!!! They are a scam!! After 1 hour of being on the phone with a very professional man, he had given me all details to ensure that my car would be covered and gave a detailed listing. I told them I wanted to speak to my husband first before jumping into this but the sales person and supervisor ensured me that I should lock it in so Im given the discounted price. Needless to say,I had a bad feeling after I gave them my account info, and called them back up telling them I wanted to cancel now. I said Im afraid you guys are a scam. They didnt know who the sales *** was, and they told me maam this isnt a scam. I ran to the bank to cancel my account. Luckily there was no monetary loss, but time was. Dont even entertain these people. Be aware. They are very professional
