Date rental of ballroom was 8/12/23 800$ + 100 deposit My family and I rented this ballroom for an event, date prior to event we had already had some concerns including not properly cleaning ballroom, there were dead crickets everywhere. They had a big wasp nest outside the window next to the front door and there were already wasp inside the ballroom and had informed them to do something about it. Main concern was the a/c not working prior the party guest arriving. We had informed security about the problem. During the party they kept coming in and checking the thermostat, at one point they even turned the whole a/c off in the middle of the parry. We couldn't even enjoy the party, or **********. Many guest were leaving early due to the heat. And they kicked us out early when the contract said till 2am to get out things out. On Monday we went to talk to the front office, where the lady gave us the number to ***************** who is in charge of giving refunds, and said to call him at a later time. When my husband called him and tried explaining our situation he said the problem was because there were too many people there. But it had already been getting hot before the all guest even started to arrive. He also said he wasn't going to give us any type of refund because there were people smoking outside , which had nothing to do with the situation we were complaining about or even us for that matter. Many family members and guest brought there own fans / a/c units to try and keep cool. If you guys take the time to look at the reviews they have, many people have complained about the same situation and the same person ***************** talking and treating them poorly. At this point I just want the business to be held accountable for there actions and stop getting away with so much. Sounds like they just take people's money and could care less about any problems or concerns they may have after the fact. Many family/ guest and even staff members are witnesses to everything and will be glad to give statements.
