what a joke.. they back direct express ..i would be ashamed to back such a lousy business ..4 days of fighting with direct express who they back called them 4 times also called comerica 4 times and mastercard 4 times on phone and even with comerica on a 3 way call does absolutely no good'' im out 70$ 9 hours on hold all my trips and plans ruined for weeks now' 100 of miles of driving trying atm's closest atm is 25 mile round trip' does comerica care ? no ..does direct express ? no .. does ********** ? no.. does bank of newyork ? no ..they all just want to blame each other .i cant access my money but just too bad for me''' funny i can use a atm 4 states away and withdraw 100's no problem but my local same o routine and atm's and amounts and now its fraud they want to protect me from me the ignorance i had to pay all that to be protected from my owm account and funds absolutely insane madness ' i cant buy food cant travel but hey they make their money'' never again will i trust comerica' direct express' mastercard''or bank of newyork''all are involved and all are liars and its always everyone elses fault and i get to suffer and get punished for being a customer ..never again..Comerica Bank

I was called December 26th, 2024 claiming someone stole from account as a customer service fraud alert card representative. They acted as a customer service manager who said to override the "transactions" and did them through codes which I found out are gift cards through my debit card. I was convinced this was real but it wasn't and realized they kept saying-"It didn't go through" each time. I hung up&they called ME 10x's back to back! I notified Comerica by phone December 27th 2024 and told it's Phishing. Vishing is by phone. Comerica Bank took ******************************************************************************** to say I authorize to be scammed! I DIDN'T KNOW I was being scammed because the number phone showed up as Comerica Bank. I showed proof I was called from this number, texts screenshots and even a police report to be denied AGAIN NOT giving my money back! Comerica Bank gave a provisional credit which is temporary then took my money back on February 14th 2025 *********** Day and shut off my debit to send another 1 without any $$! This have left ME in my account negative&a recent overdraft fee. My Life is in shambles! I'm not working at the moment, unemployment ended in December 2024 and on my own. The very establishment I relayed on to protect me as a customer FAILED MISERABLY! There's no loyalty, no protection for customers without any consideration nor empathy. This tells me they DON'T CARE and NOT gonna do nothing about it that satisfies my needs to live but to see ME suffer. Comerica Bank's Enterprise Payments Investigations is agreeing, letting things occur with what the SCAMMERS want and did instead! I HAVE NOTHING&NO MONEY!!!! I'm bankrupt! I can't sleep, barely eat, my appetite ruined and I'm losing weight in an unhealthy way with a headache migraine. I feel BETRAYED, ****** OFF, FRUSTRATED,SAD, HURT, DISBELIEF, DISAPPOINTED, EXTREMELY SO DISSATISFIED&MY MIND SPINNING IN A DAZE. Comerica doesn't deserve 1 star. A check i wrote was taken from my account on 2/12 but that transaction was not on my online banking transactions until 2/13, showing that the transaction occurred on the 13th. Comerica told me the transaction occurred on the 12th but didn't show on my online banking until the 13th, and that this was because "the check was in limbo". What does that even mean? Because of that, my account got hit with 2 overdraft fees as Comerica claims my account was negative on the 12th and it carried into the 13th. I also deposited cash on the 12th and the 13th to cover my negative balance according to my online banking on those days. How can a transaction post on the 12th when it doesn't reflect on our online banking until the 13th? It wasn't even on our account on the 12th as pending. This is by far the most pathetic thing I've ever been through with a bank. I don't even care for a refund at this point cause what's going to happen next month? The check was for a monthly bill I have to pay i can't go through this every month. Again I'm not asking for a refund at this point I'm writing this to let Comerica headquarters and more importantly other people with banking needs know that this bank is absolute garbage.Comerica Bank

I'd give them zero stars if I could.Just got a call from a Comerica Bank *** * called 3 times within 5 minutes (first 2 I let go to voice mail, answered the 3rd). For some perspective, I had bad business support by Comerica in about 2015 and, now, wouldn't give them the time of day. I've not dealt with Comerica in almost ten years.When I started talking with the Comerica *** I went right into what I thought of Comerica, which wasn't nice, but wasn't vulgar. He came back with "You start a conversation that f**king way. . .". By that time I wasn't even listening to this 'customer service ***' and because of his vulgar language I really laid into him. He ended up hanging up on me.BTW, it is only a half hour after my last dealing with Comerica *** and, lo and behold, I get another call from Comerica telling me they're concerned about fraud on my Comerica debit card account. That's laughable. Needless to say I hung up on this ******, either Comerica has exceptionally poor records and service (which wouldn't surprise me), or scammers are ***resenting themselves as Comerica ***s.Either way I couldn't care less. I wouldn't bank at Comerica again for anything.Comerica Bank

1 starAbsolute incompetence. I am listed on my deceased Mother's account as a co-owner. I have been paying my Mom's bills and taking care of the estate, including withdrawing cash at the bank. Now the tell me I can't close the account because I am not in both of their computer systems. So they have to run all this through legal. Oh, but I can continue to use my Debit Card. IDIOTS!!! 1 starIf you want to keep your money, DO NOT use *************** I LOST OVER $20,000 using the government approved Direct Express card. I LOST my nest egg! 1 starYou are just a god-awful bank. You really screwed in your citizens. Big time you don't give a s*** $5 fee to transfer from account to account, at home, on your computer and then you say this c*** it's a federal law if you do over, well first you told me five, then somebody told me six then somebody told me none you just can not get your c*** together. And it's federal law about charging $5 well you don't have to. A while back they allowed flexibility at the discretion of the bank. I'm not the only one that think you guys **** you just do you hate seeing your citizens, most of your people especially on the phone or snotty and sassy
