I called them Friday, 1-12-24 @ 11:07am to see if I had an account with them. Their name came up on MERS website. They ran my social security number and told me I did not have an account with them. My credit union called them and sent lien release papers same say. On Tiesday, 1-16-24 they sent payoff papers for $17k. I was told original loan was from 2005 for $17,600 and balance in 2024 is $17,300 because they removed interest. I asked how can I not have an account at all on Friday and $17k on Tuesday. I do not have a contract with them. My contract was with SouthStar, who is no longer in business. I am not sure loan was ever funded. Sounds very fraudulent to me.

We have had numerous telephone conversations and correspondence with consumer over the years.  She has been sent verification of debt, and is well aware that we have the lien on the property.  We have even waived interest and late fees in an effort to help her with this matter.  At one point she commenced making payments, then stopped.  We are not aware of what more we can do.  This valid lien remains in place.

I want to understand how I did not have an account on Friday, but when the credit union requested a lien release, I suddenly had an account.  I was told the original loan amount was $17k. There are no documents that supports this. I would like paperwork showing an agreement between me and D*** ****** as well as all account activity.

I am rejecting this response because:

"I want to understand how I did not have an account on Friday, but when the credit union requested a lien release, I suddenly had an account. "

Probably the receptionist who answered the phone misunderstood or mistyped the social security number and gave wrong information by mistake.

As we have sent consumer over 50 pieces of correspondence over the years, and have a long relationship of dealing with her and talking to her, we do not believe that a single misunderstood telephone contact (which we have no proof of) is relevant to this account.  We have been more than fair in our offer to waive all interest and late fees.

I am rejecting this response: I am not saying I didn't have a loan but it should've been paid off from refinance in 2008. I went to website and entered my information and received a message that said my social and account number were invalid.  I still have not received requested documentation.  I have attached video.

******************* has  reviewed and investigated  *********************** complaint, and we dispute many of her allegations. While it may be correct that our receptionist did not enter her correct information into the system at the time of her call, over the past 18 years that we have had this account, our records show that we have sent **************************** in excess of 30 letters to the address listed on the complaint. Among the correspondence sent, was a Validation of Debt, detailing exactly what this debt was for.  Additionally, we have spoken to her on numerous occasions over the previously mentioned timeframe.

***************************** states in her complaint "I am not saying I didn't have a loan but it should've been paid off from refinance in 2008. I went to website and entered my information and received a message that said my social and account number were invalid." This cannot be true, as our website does not have a function allowing consumers to input their social security number.

If ***************************** wants to amicably resolve this situation, we encourage her to contact our office.

***************** charged my two separate bank accounts of mine in the amount of $72.77 for the months of Feb, March and April 2023. They were double billing me without authorization to do so but crediting my ***************** account for just $72.77. This error was brought to their attention after the April withdrawal to my account, at which point they were directed to return the February, March and April payments to the account that was inappropriately debited. They screwed that up but I resolved through internal transfers. My biggest concern is that during the month of March, when they debited my bank account twice and credited my ***************** account once, they also had the audacity to make a late payment, which I just discovered on my credit report. The incompetency is unreal. Had we not been paying attention, we would have had no idea that this had happened to us, both in terms of the double charges and in terms of the late payments. We are asking that (1) our credit report be corrected, (2) ***************** be invested and audited, as they are undoubtedly preying on consumers, and (3) we receive the full transactional history of our account that we requested.Should you require a copy of our credit report, we can provide that. Thank you for your assistance!

We do not believe we reported this consumer late, and she refuses to supply proof of a full credit report so that we can investigate with the credit bureaus.  She sent a small screen shot which is not identifiable as to from whom received, when received, or any other pertinent information.  If she can supply a full credit report showing the header and the late information, we can address with the  appropriate bureau.

Dyck-O'Neal is falsely reporting on my credit report. They are reporting collections as open installment account. It's an collection account from 2015. I am not liable for this debt and I do not have a contract with Dyck o Neal. They did not provide me with the original application that I asked. This is prohibiting me from achieving life goals as an adult with a family. I can't get employment opportunities because of this situation. I do not owe Dyck O Neal any money because I do not have a signed contract with them. This debt was charged off as paid by Purchasing Power. And sold to Dyck O'Neal, who is falsely reporting this as an installment loan, which it is not. And Dyck O'Neal continuously states that they are a COLLECTION company.

This company continues to alter dates and statuses at their discretion. On 2 separate instances, I have had them removed from my credit report. Both times coming back as removed. They continue to call and harass using fake phone numbers. I request to be placed on a no call list for this company and further calls from them will be considered harassment and will then be reported to the States Attorney General's office as such.

On May 12, 2022 we spoke to someone who identified themselves as the borrower (by name only). Our representative asked him to hold to be transferred and he said "no, I don't have any account with you" then hung up. There has never been a request made to us to stop contacting this person. While we believe our credit reporting is entirely correct, as a courtesy we have removed any delinquent credit reporting which we may have reported from this person's credit report.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Though I accept this result, the verbiage of their response in and of itself is misleading and mildly condescending. Who should dare to challenge what they say?? My only hope is that others that have had to deal with this company, be confident in the same manner.

I have three collections on my account from a business call purchasing power. Purchasing power sold my debt to ***** ******.The collection started in 2015 and one of the collections was from 2016. The collections fell off of my account because they've been there over 7 years. ***** ****** put the collection back on my credit and they change the date 2018. **** ******* says that 2018 is when they bought the debt. My problem is the original date is from 2015 to 2016 and they keep reporting 2018. The expiration date for my debt does not change because of the debt being sold. Which means it has passed 7 years and the debt is supposed to be removed. I have filed disputes because of the incorrect date. **** ******* refuses to report the original credit date of 2015 &2016 to the credit bureau. They keep reporting the original credit date to 2018. Also d*** ******* put two more collections on my credit. They reported it December 1st 2022 and it says I owe and it says I'm past due $0. They literally added two more collections that says I'm past due $0. And the $0 balance accounts are active and open and they will not take responsibility for putting them on my credit report. They claim they didn't put those on my credit report. The crazy part the two that says $0 actually has the correct dates on. The two that says $0 says 2015 and 2016 but the other ones have 2018.
