    I returned a call and was told that I had been placed in collections by Quickcash? which is a pay day loan company. I have never/will never use a payday loan. They said they will notate my account but this has never even shown up on my credit report. Seems like an attempt to fleece someone for money without any proof.

    Nelson **** & Associates LLC is a third party collection agency involved in the collection of debts. We receive debt from debt buyers. We have since reviewed the account mention and return the owner of the account. It was not placed on the credit report because we do not report this type of consumer debt.

    I am ****************************, dob 1/21/177, last four of social is ****. Nelson Cruz and Associates whom is a debt buyer is attempting to collect on a debt that is not mine. It is a result of identity theft. I have already supplied a copy of the identity theft report and police report. On 5/23/23 this collection account appeared on my credit files with Experian/Equifax/Transunion and show the original creditor of Katapult amount $661. Per FCRA I want this removed/blocked ASAP.

    On 4/28/23 I got a notification on my credit report of a debt owing for the amount of $3133. I googled the company and phone number because I had not received anything in the mail verifying the debt. When I called due to it may be fraudulent debt I did not want to give my person information out over the phone to someone I did not know. I said I would dispute it with the credit bureaus. The person immediately called me back but could not hear me saying hello, hello and I heard her say "now she is not answering her phone, send her account to all 3 credit bureaus". It was a treat to ruin my credit with *********** before they would even try to verify the debt. I never received anything from this company before they put this negative information on my report do not I owe the original creditor they are collecting for.

    Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.  Nelson Cruz and Associates prides ourselves on assisting all consumers in a positive and ethical manner.  Upon receiving your concerns and account audit was performed on your account.   The account was placed in our office on 3/15/23 as well as a consumer notification  was immediately sent on the placement date of 3/15/2023. This notification was sent by mail to the address on file of **************************************************************************** as well as it was emailed to *********************.  This email appears to be the correct email address according to the information you provided in your correspondence.  In an effort to assist you in getting this matter resolved all account documentation was requested and recieved.  I have included them in this response.  If you have any further questions or concerns please contact our Dispute Resolution Specialist *********************** directly @************.

    I continue to receive phone calls from Nelson Cruz and Associates collection agency when I shouldn't be on here for my brother. Please ask them to stop calling as I do not have contact with my brother. Their number is ************

    On February 1, I got a notice from credit bureaus about a collections account added to my credit profile. I reached out to Nelson **** to send me debt validation because it was fraudulent. The agent I spoke said they would send documentation via email which I never received. I'm in the home buying process so my agent suggested I settle and do pay for delete because my closing date was approaching. I made a payment on February 16th and docusign on Feb 20th. To my surprise on March 1, the account was reported to all 3 reporting agencies as still in collections. My closing date is on the 15th and this is really hurting my chances on getting this home.

    Well, I don't accept it because in the response the they are asking for documents they should have if I have done any business with them which I haven't. I demand that this be removed from my credit report.

    Nelson Crus & Associates reported an open collection account " Katapult" with a balance of $415, on 1/17/2023 to the credit bureaus, "Experian, Transunion and Equifax" without sufficient evidence of my liability to the account. I have never been associated with the original creditor Katapult, and was never notified of the collection account BY Nelson Cruz & associates by Us Mail or telephone. On 2/22/2023, I reached out to Nelson Cruz & Associates in regards to the collection account, the rep stated they have sent several letters to an address - "2601 hilltop dr." which is an incorrect address. I have filed a identity theft report as of 2/22/2023, with the Federal trade commission.

    Jan 31, ************************ *** to resolve past due amount. I immediately complied and paid past due of ******* I was told by Ms *** I would have an immediate deletion of this on my credit report.. 30 days and many discussions and promises in writing and voice recorded later still no deletion. Next step is lawsuit
