Date: 10/13/2021 Billed for the amount of $800.00 To provide quote on pouring a concrete slab. Complaint that Pro Finish Concrete conspired, along with my builder to defraud me out of$800.00 by performing work not approve by me. The project was to pour a concrete slab for a shop building. I asked the builder repeatedly for a price quote or estimate on a concrete slab and minor plumbing for a shop/carport. Over the course of several weeks Pro Finish never responded with a bid. In the meantime, Pro Finish began the installation of form boards for the shop pad. As no bid was provided and me not willing to let them complete the slab I had Pro Finish cease and desist with the project. I was not willing to continue, then get a bill after the work was completed. Pro Finish could then bill what they wanted and I would have no recourse but to pay. After cancellation, Pro Finish contacted the builder and asked I pay $800.00 for their labor. As Pro Finish did not provide a bid for services and did not have authorization to begin, the labor charges should be on the company. Work should not have been started until a bid had been offered and I had given them permission to start. Any work performed by Pro Finish was not authorized and I should not be charged for work I did not sanction. There has been no contact either from the builder or the service provider. The recourse would be to either return the $800.00 or provide a reasonable quote minus the $800.00 previously charged and schedule to have project completed. Invoice Number: ***
