      On June 2nd, I received a notice that *** had put a late notice on a personal loan. The app showed a $0 balance. I immediately sent an email through the app asking that I be contacted to rectify the situation. I contacted *** on Monday 6/3 and paid the balance off. I sent an email to their credit disputes department at the direction of the *** employee. I received the callback at 12:01pm. I sent another email on 6/4 at 10:35am. I called again on 6/7 at 9:26am to be passed around. Finally, I left a voicemail asking someone to call me back as I want to get this off my credit report. No one at *** has responded via email OR phone. I am beyond frustrated with this company. Especially because their app showed I did not owe a single *****!

      I recently applied for a checking account at **********************, seeking convenience due to its proximity to my ******************. However, the experience turned out to be disappointing and frustrating.Despite having long-standing accounts with other major credit unions and banks without any issues, I was unexpectedly denied for the Cash Back Checking account. Instead, ********************** offered me a Fresh Start Checking account which comes with a $20 monthly fee, supposedly for individuals needing to prove their financial reliability. This was bewildering as my credit and banking history, verified through appropriate systems, demonstrate my reliability without a doubt.The manager, after some delay, informed me they could not disclose the reasons for my denial, citing privacy policies. This lack of transparency about their approval process and the insinuation that I needed to prove my credit worthiness over six months felt insulting. It seemed as if they were questioning my financial management without any valid reason. Its worth noting that this decision came from corporate, not a local branch, which suggests a systemic issue within the organization.The entire ordeal has left a sour taste, and its clear their processes lack the transparency that should be standard in financial services. Their website doesnt accurately reflect the hoops one might have to jump through, which is misleading.I dont usually leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience to inform others. I will not be applying at this credit union again, and I advise potential customers to look for institutions that value and respect all clients equally. This one certainly did not meet that standard in my case.
