Complaint Type:Product Issues Status:UnansweredMore info In May 2023 I visited Dental Republic at ******************************************************************** To have an implant to repalce upper left tooth, and entire partial for lower teeth total $5500.03 We set up financing with Subit fo 12 month no intrest payment of $428.04 per month + down payment of $363.55 I have made 8 payments in amount of $3359.83 with 5 remainig payments of $********** of roday February 7, 2024 I have nothing to show other than the s**** which was inserted last year for the implant.After several months of not beig contacted I called to inquire about partial & implant. I was scheduled an appointment on November 25, 2023 at 11:00 am. After waiting an hour and half I was carried back and docotor said was I was there for a 6 week check up. I informed him I was there for completion of implant and to receive partial. He aplogized *** said he would have dentist contact me on Monday. As of today I've not heard from anyone. I've left over 10 messages with service tht answers, they will not give out direct number to clinic and no respones. I reached out to ****** for assistance, they tried calling for several weeks with no response. On January 25, 2024 received email from ****** stating Dental Republic denied requestto adjust or cancel loan.Initial Complaint

Hello my name is *******************************, I went to get my daughters braces on March 9th paid 2,000$ from my income tax. We went to Dental Republic in ****** on ***********************************. everything looked and went fine until one of her brackets kept falling off. The first time it fell off was at night in her sleep, she woke us up chocking due the bracket falling off. We went back the next day I asked why it fell off? he said she grinds her teeth at night causing it to fall off. He said its free for the first time, 25$ after that. that night I watched to see for any grinding and saw that she sleeps with her mouth open, she did not grind her teeth, it fell off on its own, the next day we went back and told him she does not grind her teeth, she a mouth breather. He tried to blame my daughter saying that she grinding her teeth. I told him I watched her sleep and she sleeps with her mouth open, thats impossible. He then tried to claim that her teeth were shifting and thus casuing her bracket to fall off. I asked him which one is it? Is it the grinding or her teeth shifting, because he is now changing the story. He said its her teeth shifting, that she needs blockers for her teeth. I asked him how much are the blockers? he said 300$ each. I said well how many does she need? He said two, one on each side of her mouth. I told him to just replace to bracket. he refused to replace it because its just going to continue falling off and we will be back tomorrow, he and the front desk lady laughed at us. I told him if we come back then we will pay more thats fine. I gave him the 25$ they laughed at us again, but did replace it. Not even 30mins later that same bracket fell off again! She wasnt grinding, she was sitting in the car and said, mom it just fell out again! We went back to the place, this time my husband talked to them asked for our money back and they refused. We want a refund to take her to professions who actually care about our daughter teeth.Initial Complaint

We went to this clinic after hearing their promotion on the radio. After getting there they go over the plan but it was a bit more than we were okay with so they said they would go lower so I signed. Nowhere did it say the cost until we were handed our receipt where it had the full charge thy was 1k+ the agreed. They claimed the credit agency would fix it if we called so we did and credit said the clinic billed them and had nothing to do with it. The clinic hadnt yet put the braces but had charged for all of the procedures and said if we cancelled we wouldnt get the money back for ordering the braces which was over a thousand dollars. We went ahead with the braces to not lose money and now the break all of the time. They charge for everything thats wrong with them but were thinking its their quality. I am filing this complaint regarding an unresolved issue with Dental Republic at their *************** in ******, *****. I was charged $250 for a procedure (D7911: Complicated Suture) on April 17th, 2024, which their own dentist later stated was not required as part of my treatment. On the appointment day, I was redirected to another clinic 30 minutes away due to the dentists unavailability and had to wait an additional hour and a half. Despite the inconvenience, the procedure was not performed. I filed a claim the next day, April 18th, and was assured a refund within 30 days. Over the past 86 days, I called their helpline 10 times, each time being told that the refund was in progress. On my most recent call, I was informed I would not receive a refund due to their no refunds policy and was offered a credit for future services instead. Additionally, the representative mentioned an email sent to me in mid-May, which I have no record of receiving. Despite having my contact number, there was no further communication. I sent a formal email on Friday, June 21st, requesting detailed billing information, copies of any signed contracts, and a refund but received no response. I followed up on Friday, July 5th, yet still received no acknowledgment. After calling their helpline, I was told there is no other way to contact the billing team. This lack of response and transparency is deeply concerning. Under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act (DTPA), it is unlawful to engage in deceptive business practices, including misrepresenting services and failing to disclose important information. Despite their no refunds policy, the clinic is legally obligated to refund payments for services not rendered. I am seeking a full refund of $250 for the unperformed procedure. I do not want a credit for future services due to the considerable inconvenience and miscommunication experienced.Initial Complaint

El da 06 abril ******* una va**racin dental en este lugar, la ************************************* quien nos atendi nos indic el tratamiento * **s precios de acuerdo a previa va**racin. Me hicieron un cambio de empaste ($460)que al llegar a casa se ca* con parte de mi diente, fui a una segunda cita * me indicaron que ahora necesitara una corona porque mi diente estaba desgastado ** cual no fue indicado en la va**racin inicial * esto no fue todo, mi pareja haba decidido realizase un tratamiento dental por ($2135 )que inclua extraccin de dos cordales, limpieza de caries * emplaste en 4 dientes * una limpieza dental profunda, se le solicito a la sra ******* que con el anticipo que haba cancelado de 1281, so** se realizara la extraccin de cordales * la Limpieza porque no estaba conforme con ** que haba sucedido con mi empaste, ella ******** que no poda que debamos cancelar $700 adicionales para realizar el procedimiento, entonces dijimos que so** realizar la extraccin dijo que si pero que deba reprogramar la cita, en esta cita dijo que ahora deba cancelar $600 dlares porque la extraccin requera ciruga ** cual no inform en la va**racin inicial entonces se solicito que se realizara la limpieza * para esto dijo que tambin deba pagar un adicional de $194 dlares, ** cual no es justo se pago $1475 por una limpieza profunda que es ms de 69% del plan que inclua todo el tratamiento, al solicitar explicacin en servicio al cliente dijo habernos dado un descuento familiar ** cual es falso, no le solicitamos descuento ni ella ** menciono cuando nos presento el plan de tratamiento, so** dijo este ser el va**r * debe pagar el 60% ho* para mantener el precio.estafa * falta de profesionalismo, **s invito a revisar **s reviews en su pgina en ****** * ******** varios pacientes con la misma situacin.Agradezco su atencinInitial Complaint

Incident happened on OCT 21, 2023. This business has not been ethical on their practices. They have stole $10k from me for a service I did not receive nor wanted. I DID NOT sign any documents acknowledging that I was going to receive treatment. I went in for a consultation and I got an estimate for how much treatment was going to be. I did not want to go through the procedure so I left. I have then contacted the the business asking them to cancel many times and even went through care credit to cancel the plan and was denied through them. They are not ethical and perform shading business practices. I have then been back to the business to ask for a dental plan and procedure which they supposedly made, all which was false and I was denied that procedure plan. The receptionist is also not willing to help with anything she has denied that the doctor was there many times which has been false because I have contacted the doctor through a call from my cellphone and he has came out many times to assist me from the back of the business. They have a cancellation policy 30 days before treatment and I asked for the cancellation multiple times and they keep denying their OWN POLICY. Hello so I went to dental republic 4 years ago for for 3 dental implants they said I needed I did not have no insurance so they said I had to pay all in cash or with credit card They quoted me 20k thousand dollars Since it was painful for me I had to pay, after they did extraction and installed my implants they needed to set the crowns so I could eat regular foods, they would set a date for me to go and get impressions done but when I would get there a different employee would tell me they werent ready of they could be able to do it because they were no staff and re schedule for another day which I had to miss from work I would eventually go because is something I need. I would wait 2, 3 hours for them to tell me the same thing or to come in another day, after a few months of just re scheduling they started charging me $300/$600 just to get checked for something I had already paid for now its been 4 years and I still dont have my crowns and I cant eat properly , all I ask is for my money back so I can go to a decent dentist that can fix what they did to me! We paid a little over $5k for our daughter's braces 3 years ago and was told we would receive a retainer at the end of the program. They removed her braces on the second week of July of this year and did impressions for the retainer. We had an appointment on August 16 to pick up the retainer only to find out they still were not there. No one called to tell me this...I had to call them prior to coming because so many times throughout my 3 years of dealing with them I drove from our place of residence in Rockwall to this place in Oak Cliff only to find out her appointment had been rescheduled without anyone notifying us ahead of time. As of today, August 26, 2022 we have yet to receive my daughter's retainer. Her teeth in the back have began to space out and revert. No one from the office ever returns a phone call. I have been ripped off and am very upset about it, but yet no one from the office ever returns phone calls. I still do not know whether or not they will honor their word and provide my daughter's retainer. At this point, my daughter may have to return to braces!! I don't feel as if that's something we should have to repay. They are liable and they need to stand accountable. I want my daughter's teeth corrected for the spacing that has occurred since the removal of her braces and I want her retainer. If they can't make this happen, I wish to seek a refund of the $5k we pre-paid them.
