    Pattern of Complaint:

    On August 24, 2023, BBB notified Francesca’s Element LLC of concerns in consumer complaints regarding the company’s marketplace practices.

    Specifically, BBB identified a pattern of complaints where consumers alleged that Francesca’s Element LLC:

    • Was paid in advance (and/or in full) for a service that has not been received/completed.
    • Notified the consumer via email that it was ceasing all operations, and no refund would be issued.
    • Did not return the consumer’s dried flowers and/or belongings after the business announced its closing.
    • If the consumer did receive their items (flowers/accessories) back, they were unusable to be preserved by a different company.
    • Consumers have not been refunded by the company and/or their bank.

    BBB requested the company's voluntary cooperation in eliminating the identified pattern in consumer complaints by providing a written response outlining the steps the company will implement to avoid future complaints of the same or similar nature.

    BBB confirmed via the Texas Secretary of State website that Francesca’s Element LLC was voluntarily dissolved on August 31, 2023.

    Francesca’s Element LLC was not responsive to the consumer complaints nor any of BBB’s inquiries regarding the pattern of complaints and the investigation was closed as ‘Failed to Respond’ on 10/17/2023.

      Met with Francescas element in 10/10/22 and pause $615.94 to preserve my wedding flowers for my May 2023 wedding. I was married on 5/25/23 and shipped my bouquet on 5/27/23. I did not hear from them until 6/13/23 to confirm they received my bouquet.On 7/31/23 they sent a mass email stating they were closing and would be shipping my flowers back. No refund or further communication. Their email and social media accounts were deactivated so we could not contact them. I received my dried flowers back on 12/18. And then had to hire a different company to send the flowers to complete the preservation which then cost me an additional $500. This has tainted what should have been a happy time. The stress of thinking I lost my once in a lifetime flowers was disheartening.

      I paid for my wedding flowers to be preserved by this company on March 17 2023. The company had a law suit against them and couldnt fulfill my order or refund me. I paid $537.12 and I didnt get my money back or the product I paid for. They basically said sorry cant do it and we wont respond to any emails. That was it.

      I purchased a floral preservation kit with Francescas in September of 2022. I was supposed to receive a tray, ring holders, and coasters. I have tried to contact the store continuously and have not been consistently answered. I just received dried flowers back in the mail with notice that they have closed. No one has reached out to me via their customer service. Emails have gone unanswered. *** spent a lot of money on this and if the service cannot be completed I am *********** a refund. Now I cant even find a number online to call for their customer service.

      I paid Francescas Element $569 plus tax to create an acrylic resin tray with my wedding bouquet. I was married 10/07/22 and sent them my flowers the next day. I got emails of them updating me on the process. They received my flowers, dried them, and sent me designs along the way. I received an email in August asking to update my shipping address so my product would go to the correct place when completed. I updated my address and didnt hear anything else back for months. I emailed in November stating I hadnt received my product and didnt hear back. Today I received my dried flowers crumpled up in a box with a note saying they had to close due to unforeseen circumstances. My flowers are now mostly ruined and I didnt receive the preserved acrylic tray like I paid for. I cant replace the flowers but at a minimum I would like my money refunded to me.

      I purchased flower preservation services from this business back in May/June 2022 for my December 30th, 2022 wedding. I was notified in July 2023 that my flowers were ready to be placed in resin. I was alerted in early/late August 2023 of the cease and desist of the business, *********'s Element. They requested my address and said they would ship me my flowers once they were out of resin; however, it is now November 2023 and I have *still not received my flowers back. I am heart broken and this was a significant financial payment I made. I truthfully just want my flower's to be shipped back to me, but there is no way I can communicate to anyone from the business. Please help.

      Back in December of 2021, I started a contract with this company to preserve my wedding bouquet. August 21,2022 my flowers were shipped to them and I received a message telling me that I needed to contact the shipper to redirect shipment as their office had flooded. All went well and I was getting updates and updated on delays. July 2023 I receive an email that they will not be able to complete my preservation of the flowers due to a lawsuit that caused them to file for bankruptcy. No explanation given, no contact information to get ahold of them, and now all I have is a ****** doc form that is the only way for me to contact them I dont know what process my flowers were in I dont know if they still have my flowers

      I placed an order for my wedding flowers to be preserved as soon as I got engaged. After my wedding, I sent my flowers to the company to be dried and preserved along with a memorial charm that I had on my bouquet for my dad who passed away 3 months before my wedding. I received designs for approval and confirmed my shipping address and after that my emails have gone unanswered. They didnt tell me they were closing, didnt return my money or the very sentimental memorial charm. Very unprofessional and frustrating!

      I contacted Francescas Element via ******** messenger right after we got engaged in Jan 2022 to get pricing for floral preservation. I did not make a purchase then, but reached back on in Jan 2023 to potentially make a purchase for floral preservation after our wedding to take place on 10-21-23. I met with a rep ******* via video chat and made the decision to purchase $2681.36 worth of products to be made utilizing my bouquet from our wedding in October. We set up a payment plan and I paid the first of 4 deposits ($536.27). Shortly after on 2-27-23, I reached out asking if I could cancel and receive a refund due to financial hardship. It was at that point that they told me they dont offer refunds of any kind (first Id heard of it and it was noted in a small cancellation policy in a contract that was never signed and sent to me AFTER I made my first payment. I tried to get my cc company to reverse the charge since I wouldnt be receiving services from them and it was in plenty of time for them to find another bride to fill the spot (no lost revenue). However after a lengthy email exchange, I accepted the fact that I wouldnt receive this money back. At the end of our exchange, ************************************ (one of the owners) told me they would still provide me with services after my wedding for the amount I had already sent over. Now that it is closer to my wedding, I reached out and had the email bounce back. That is when I discovered the bankruptcy and the legal mess around the company. Since I will not be able to receive the items which I paid for and were promised to me, I would like my money back. Documentation of this entire exchange is included in attachments.

      On February 23,2023 I paid, in full, 582 plus taxes for a rectangle resin display, a ring dish, and a keychain made from my wedding bouquet. My wedding was Oct 6, 2023. I hadnt heard from this company between my purchase date and still now. I shipped out my bouquet as previously instructed and just now saw the shipping address was undeliverable. I googled the address to ensure I had it correct and saw the company had gone under. My entire bouquet and my husbands boutonnire are now gone. Sitting down in ***** and Im out almost $600. I got absolutely no advance email about this company closing down or offering a refund or telling me not to ship my flowers.

      April 2023 I paid them 400$ for flower preservation for my May 6th 2023 wedding. The day after my wedding, May 7th,2023, I sent them my flowers. Everything was fine until I get an email I will attach stating they are indefinitely out of business. They still have my flowers and will not send money back. There is a small chance they will send my flowers but there is no form of communication now available to their clients.
