My soon to be ex wife applied for a loan through Speedy Loan online in my name without my knowledge. After speaking with a rep a Speedy Loan they do not require proof of identity when you apply online. They simply ask for your social security number and drivers license number. If you know that information you can get a loan. But when I called them today to resolve an issue they are asking for a copy of my drivers license in order to resolve the issue. I find is disturbing that no proof of identity is required to obtain a loan yet when trying to resolve an issue they want my actual id. Companies like this should not exist because it sets up the scenario for fraud too easily. Now my son is stuck paying for a loan that he didnt request in the first place because of their poor policy.Initial Complaint

I have been trying to find a loan and online speedy loans contacted me saying oh you have a loan we're going to help you fill this out and I kept going to these websites on the phone with them and putting my information in and I heard beeping on the other end of the line every time I push enter an inch or something in and he just kept going back to the beginning and going in and putting me through another process and back to the beginning and putting me through another process basically I entered a home my personal information across several sites and at the end he said oh good news you're approved but on my end it said denied and he assured me that buy 9:30 that night which was Friday night or by 9 this morning the money would be in my account and when I called him back to check on he was very rude to me and then I called back three times today and they've just hung up every time without much of anything other than an automated message I pushed the number nine to talk to somebody and it plays music for about 2 minutes and then hangs up but nobody ever getting on the phone their fraudulent company I believe my identity has been stolen now I'm all my bank accounts were compromised because of this now theyv have my personal information and I'm not happy about it but I think somebody should check this out because they're probably doing this to a lot of people not just meInitial Complaint

I applied for a $1,000 loan from on-line speedyloan. I got a phone call a couple minutes later. I pick up the phone and then who called me said I was approved. I gave him all my bank information and my social security number. He told me he had to get my credit report and needed my debut card number and it won't get charged. He did this 4 times and my card got charged. Then he told me someone will call me in 1 or 2 hours. That was on Friday 11/5/21. I didn't get a phone call. I waited until today to call them and couldn't get ahold of anyone until 2pm 11/8/21. When I finally spoke to someone they said someone will call me at 8:30 pm tonight and the money would get put into my account. I never got a phone call and I'm afraid they are going to clean my bank account out. I'm sure I'm getting scammedInitial Complaint

I applied for a loan and they keep hanging up and telling me to wait for a confirmation call but I never got one. I turned my card off so they can't take any money off my card if they try. Something needs to be done about companies like thisInitial Complaint

9/20/21 contacted for personal loan of $5,000.00. Taken through approval steps then redirected to several different credit monitoring sites that have a monthly cost associated. Never received loan and was able to cancel monitoring however this company is not doing the business they advertise. *********************Initial Complaint

Applied for a loan online they contacted by phone and sent a link to Speedy Loans. They told me to buy a $150 **** gift card then they transferred me to a agent he asked for to buy 2 more Gift cards for $150 a piece. SCAM! I need that back I'm behind in my rent that was the purpose of getting a loan.
