My former Lender "TexCap Financial" sold my account to "Sterling Credit". They sent me a packet to switch over the lien holder to Sterling Credit and that i would be making my car payments to them because they now have my account. I have been receiving countless phone calls saying that I am almost a year behind on my payments to TexCap Financial. I explained to the customer service rep that Sterling has my account and I have not received anything saying that the account was switched back to TexCap. TexCap is saying that they have escalated my account for repossession unless i pay the past due amount.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/08/10) */ Dear ******** ****, Thank you for taking the time to pass along how TexCap Financial, LLC ("TCF") did not meet your expectations. We appreciate the opportunity to address the concern and have every desire to resolve it in the best way possible. After reviewing the account, we verified that TexCap Financial was assigned for servicing this account through Mikes Motors LLC. Sterling Credit Corporation ("Sterling") then purchased the account in August 2021; however, when Sterling was not able to make contact or receive payment, the account was purchased back by TCF in September 2021. TCF is also still the lienholder. Sterling confirmed that they were contacted in October 2021, and they advised you to contact the dealership since they were no longer servicing the account. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. If you have any additional questions or if you would like to discuss your payment options, you may contact us at (877)782-5559 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (CT) and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (CT). Sincerely, TexCap Financial, LLC 14875 Landmark Blvd. Box 215 Dallas, TX 75254 Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/08/12) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) My account was sold and bought in 30 days? My correspondence with sterling was not as you said. The packet that was sent to me advising me of the transfer said that i would be making payments to Sterling as they have my account and to have Sterling on my insurance as the lein holder. I have not received any information from sterling saying that texcap has my acct. Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/08/25) */ Dear ******** ****, We sincerely apologize for any confusion you may have experienced. As mentioned, TexCap Financial, LLC ("TCF) did reach out to Sterling Credit Corporation ("Sterling") and Sterling confirmed that they are no longer servicing the account after it was purchased back by TCF in September 2021. The Florida vehicle record that TCF retrieved on August 10, 2022 shows TCF as the lienholder. If you have any additional questions, you may contact us at (877) 782-5559 Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (CT) and Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (CT). I purchased this 2015 Chrysler 200 from auto maxx. Then started receiving calls and mail about 9 days after getting my car that my loan had been sold to this company Texcap. I had been making all of the payments until I lost my job in January or February I provided documentation to this company for what idk when they say they have no other options for you if you can't pay due to illness lay off etc other the repossession. My mom had been making payments they eventually repossessed my car past due was $7xx.00 lus the repossession fee of $7xx.oo total I paid to get my car back was $1552.52 in this was in June. When I called in to find out how much I needed to pay the amount that they gave me was $1,552.52 that was not included my payment that was due for June. These people are not offering people any type of options before repossession. They call you from sunup to sundown they're very rude supervisors are not any better than the CSRBusiness Response

I bought this car from a different business who was bought out by TexCap. I have made every payment and have my bank statements to prove it. They have claimed that I missed May payment, but my bank statement refutes that. Now, just today, they are claiming I also missed July. Again, my bank statement refuted this. I only write a few checks a month, the Texcap check is one of them so it's very easy for me to track the payments. Texcap's story keeps changing and I have yet to speak to a person in charge. Last time I spoke with them, I heard other people telling the person I was talking to, to hang up on me. I believe they are doing something very illegal here.Business Response

I had a 2014 ***** ******* that I purchased from ******** who's loan was later sold to TexCap Financial LLC. The car was totaled on May 11, 2022. I called and notified TexCap that it was totaled and to expect the insurance company to reach out requesting the payoff amount and correct paperwork showing TexCap as the finance company because it was still showing ********* ***** representatives and I have been trying for over a month to get the information. I have had two different conference calls with a rep from ***** and an agent from TexCap Financial. Each time a TexCap agent has stated there is no way for them to directly reach a supervisor or manager other than for them to send an email. When we called on June 14th, 2022 we were told a request had to be sent via fax and it would be 48-72 hrs for a response. The ***** rep took the information and faxed the request. On June 18th I called ***** to confirm only to find out the fax had not been received. I called TexCap again. Because it was a Saturday I was told there was nothing they could do and to call back. On June 24th I was told it had been sent. I asked the agent to confirm the fax #. It was the wrong #. I gave the agent the correct # and requested they refax it. On Saturday, July 9th I was told the file had been sent to management On July 5th, for the 2nd time, the agent was not able to see that fax was ever sent after the # was corrected and again I was asked to call back on Monday. Today July 11th the TexCap agent stated he sent an email and had no response. He requested I call back in an hour. I called back and the same agent stated he had not received a response and there was nothing else he could do. We cannot go get another car or pay off this one until this is completed.Business Response

I purchased a vehicle in October 2020 from a small dealership. This particular dealership used TexCap Financial as their finance company. I made my payments on time every month. And had never encountered any issues until March 17, 2022 when I made my last payment of $359.26. To this day, they have refused to give me my title. I've called multiple times and have been met with rudeness and a complete lack of care. Each time I call they give an excuse as to why they can not provide the title and then give me time frames of 60 to 90 days before I can receive my title. I've bought several vehicles in my life and upon paying a vehicle off, I received the title either at the time of paying the vehicle off or a few weeks later. I have since sold the vehicle under the understanding I will provide the title. It has been months and is now causing problems because i have yet to receive my title. According to the google reviews, this is a common issue. It is beyond me how a company with such horrific reviews can stay business.Business Response
