Date: 11.29.2022 A medical appointment from 11.29.2022 has been filed against me with a collection agency in the amount of $339.00.The payment was made by my insurance company in full with no patient copay to Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System and the payment cleared the bank 03.28.2023 with check number ****** from my insurance company. Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System has repeatedly harassed me through phone calls and letters every month since my visit & denied receiving payment from my insurance company. They have continually harassed me about this payment although my insurance company paid them in full. I have repeatedly contacted Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System along with my insurance company trying to resolve this issue. Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System threatened me that they would send this debt to a collection company even though they have been paid in full. They have now sent the debt to collections causing me stress, anxiety and fear. I repeatedly spoke to many agents at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System along with my insurance company on several 3 way calls (my insurance company, myself and Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System) to resolve the matter and prove that the payment was sent and that the check has been cashed. I am now being pursued by collections by way of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System to pay this debt again out of my pocket which has caused me financial hardship and fear and stress andis now ruin my credit. They will receive payment twice for this debt if I pay the same amount that my insurance has already paid. I am seeking a resolution from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. Someone in their business needs to look harder to find this payment and make sure it was not misapplied to the wrong account especially since they recently went through a merger or buyout and was formerly known as MEA ************** owned by St. *******'s.
