      Paid outstanding balance on 11/5/24 Was sent to collections for that amount on 11/11/***** one could tell me why. Was told they would call the collections agent and fix it.Waited two weeks and called collections myself who advised that valiants office had never reached out to resolve this like they told me they would. Collections sent an email to valiant to take care of this for me.Emailed and called valiant again on 11/23/2024 expalining I needed them to contact me to resolve this ******* one has reached out to me as of 12/11/2024.

      Valiant has predatory billing. They did not call, text, or email before sending a small balance to collections. It's a very lazy administration. Zero customer service. And they overcharge for ******************** services. This is the very worst of for-profit healthcare.

      I was sent to a collection agency over $47 that was owed after my sons surgery. I never once received a bill. After I called the collection agency to pay I found that they actually submitted the same amount twice on two accounts and the collection company is trying to get double the money. I called the billing department for this company and was told they sent 4 bills to me. I never got any of them. Its amazing how I can get every other bill in the mail but this one. I cant even imagine how their bill got lost in the mail 4 separate times. I do not believe for a single second that any of the bills were mailed to me. The fact that I was never contacted any other way than a collection agency is ridiculous.

      Valiant Anesthesia submit a bill to me received April 5, 2023 (billing date March 30, 2023) well after the ***** "11 month" law (see referenced ***** law below). The insurance claim with *** settled with this Valiant March 3 2022.Valiant has defended their delayed billing by claiming (extended) processing/payment disputes with the *** insurance which wasn't processed by Valiant until April 18, 2022, and then more subsequent disputes.Regardless, this billing date exceeds "the first day of the 11th month after the date the services are provided" by 2 months . The ***** law is SPECIFIC about the maximum billing date after "services are provided" and makes no exceptions for provider interactions with the primary insurance, including settlement disputes and excessively delayed processing by Valiant.r.e. CIVIL PRACTICE AND REMEDIES CODE, CHAPTER 146. CERTAIN CLAIMS BY HEALTH CARE SERVICE PROVIDERS BARRED

      I had a medical procedure that involved anesthesia. Anesthesia services were billed to my medical insurance and the claim was paid. The claim states that Valiant Anesthesia Associates is in-network and that Cigna paid a negotiated rate to Valiant. Valiant sent me a bill for the difference between the amount they originally billed and the negotiated rate that Cigna paid. This billing practice is illegal, especially considering that my insurance is in-network and they already paid Valiant. I should not be receiving a bill for any amount.
