BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! LifeMed USA gives FALSE and MISLEADING information on their website for the "UPbed Independence". They claim the bed comes with an 8 inch Memory Foam Mattress that is cloud-like and soft. When the bed arrived it came with a less than 6 inch mattress and is very hard. The compartment the memory foam goes into will only hold a 6 inch mattress. So why do they claim it comes with an 8 inch mattress? The "UPbed Standard" bed comes with a 6 inch mattress, so I ordered the "UPbed Independence" thinking I was getting a bigger, more upgraded mattress and bed. I was NOT and they were being deceitful. Had the "White Glove Delivery", however this was a joke also. The 2 guys delivering were nice and polite, but they had NEVER seen this bed and had NO CLUE how to put it together. This bed is complicated to put together because of the many parts, motors and wiring. They started putting it together without even looking at the manual and instructions. Took them hours to figure it out after having to look at the manual. Their website also claims "NO RISK SHOPPING". That you're 100% protected with Life Med USA. They also claim to stand behind ALL their products by offering industry leading guarantees on EVERYTHING. However they won't accept any returns on these beds, even if they haven't been slept on. Communicated with 2 different representatives and they would do NOTHING to help me or make it right. A VERY DECEITFUL company and I regret buying from them.
