On April 6,2024 we went to **** eagle of Dallas to look at a car we seen online. When we got there we test drove the car and looked to make sure there was no leaks and looked under the hood etc. We specifically asked the sales man ***************************** if there was any issues that we needed to know about and he said no or it wouldnt be on the lot for sale. My daughter said she liked the car so we went ahead and got it. In May of 2024 I noticed the car was over heating and when we checked the coolant the coolant reservoir was empty so we went to buy a gallon of coolant. When we started to pour in the coolant it all just came out. My daughter has not had her car working for a month and she is paying monthly payments for a car she cant drive. We had somebody come to my house to look at it and when he jacked it up there is some kind of black plastic and a piece of tape which is included in photos to cover up the big hole that is in the coolant reservoir we contacted the business and they just ignored us. I messaged the person ************************* and was just left on read. They know they did this or they would be helping us. I think its wrong for them to sell a car that has a hole in the coolant reservoir and cover it up with some kind of black stuff. I want them to fix this car and make it right. We only had this car drive for a month so no telling if there is more issues we do not know about. I will NEVER PURCHASE a car from Honda again!!! They are a bunch of lying thieves

I would like a refund for the unnecessary and optional add ons that I paid for you car while at your dealership. I was not given an itemized copy of my sales contract where is states everything I paid for the car. I was treated this way because I am a woman. I could have gotten this car in my hometown for $14,000 less than what your dealership charged with add ons. I am in the process of finding an auto fraud attorney.

We have already resigned this customer with corrected figures.  She is happy with the outcome.  Thanks

    Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: my salesperson didn't give the the option to decline the **** Eagle appearance plan. He failed to mention every car is marked up $2000. I would like to cancel this warranty and get a refund. The finance person was deceitful when saying, "it's already included in your car", as if I was getting it for free and calling it by a different name, **********. I would like to cancel this Lithia Appearance protection as you have 3 different names for the same thing to confuse people.

The best thing to do I think is for you to come out to the dealership so we can go over the figures again.  Let us know when is a good time. Thanks

I am rejecting this response because:   I absolutely will. And who should I ask for?

On Saturday, January 13,2024 I was contacted by John Eagle Honda of Dallas to come out and see their used vehicles. They have been reaching out to me for the past 2 weeks, it was close to 9am. I told the man over the phone that I can come around 2pm. So, I arrived at the dealership, ******** was my sales consultant. After she got my job information, address, and etc., she asked me the amount I was comfortable with putting down. I said 600, she said so 500 and I said OKAY. I put 500 dollars down on a 2024 Honda Accord hybrid lease, I signed all the paperwork and was given a flash drive with my signed documents. They were unable to print the dealer tags due to a tree falling down on the power line. So Honda paid for me a Uber home, and I was told to return the following week to pick up my Vehicle. So today, January 17, 2024 I called ******** at 9:30 am and was told she would return my call at noon. At noon I received a call back from ******** and she said because of a recent repossession they can not let me have the vehicle. ******** said that they were working on voiding the contract, and refunding me my deposit. This is a breach of contract and should not be allowed. The contract is already sign, and now they are trying to go back on their word.

Date of transaction is 12/14. I went to **** Eagle Honda to buy a car and they added $5000 worth of add ons I specifically said I didn't want to my contract with out bringing it to my attention. They gave me numbers such as the car price was $23, 114 and they adjusted it to $25, 302. 2 items I said I didnt want that were presented by the salesman at $499 were added to my contract against my wishes and at $999 each. another added on almost $3K was also added as well as $499 for a lifetime of oil changes the finance guy said was on him. It was late by the time I left and I left the car there and drove off in my rental with the intention of grabbing the car the next day. I felt off from the interaction and reviewed my contract this morning and saw all the adjustments they had made and didn't discuss with me. With advice from a car financial director I know I went back to ask for my downpayment and termination of contract since I had not taken the car off the lot and didn't even have the keys and they refused. I was then threatened by my sales person when I refused to sit down with them again that they have me on camera refusing to take the keys the day before and that I was in the wrong.I did not refuse the keys it was simply late and I wanted to just take the rental back the next morning on my way. I told them I no longer want the car or to do business with them and simply want my downpayment back and my contract terminated. They said I already own the car and they can do nothing for me. I left. I still do not have the keys to the vehicle and it is still sitting in the lot where I left it on the original date of 12/14. Honda Financial who is me lien holder told me nothing goes through until I drive it off the lot and that they are doing me dirty.

    Customer Answer

    Date: 12/22/2023

I do not posses this vehicle or the keys and never drove it off the lot. I communicated the next day I no longer want the vehicle after they unknowingly padded my contract 5k when I was told different pricing.

The complaint is I agreed to purchase a vehicle for $******.00. At time of filling out the paperwork I agreed for 66 months. However, I received my contract on a jump drive. When I looked over my contract at home, I noticed he had changed the months to 72. That's when I saw all the other amounts that had been added and the sale price of the car changed. I signed a contract for that amount ****** dollars. I immediately went to the dealership on Monday after work to speak with my salesperson and the financial person. I told them about the changes and that I no longer wanted to finance through Honda. They said I couldn't do that because I had signed the paper. (They had not the submitted the papers, which I found out when I called the Honda.) They refused to let me use my credit union and to sell it to me for the price I was quoted. On Monday evening I received an email where they had subscribed me LoJack. A sales manager called me Thursday and again Friday and said he would have the car towed to my home. I received a welcome to Honda financial on Friday. Which means they sent that contract through after I had expressed that I wanted to go through my credit union. There are other suspicious things that I would like to present.

I purchased a used *** 2020 X5 from the dealership and it had multiple warnings pop up after driving off. Several of the warning were fixed once they replaced the windshield with a *** windshield because they promised to fix the issues. *** was phenomenal in this process and ****** as well. However after the windshield was replaced I still was getting an adaptive headlight malfunction warning. It costs $202 to be fixed and Im asking that the dealership pay that amount to fix it because it isnt covered by warranty. There is also a broken cup holder in the front that I asked to be replaced as well.

I bought a car at John Eagle Honda of Dallas. The finance person, ***** forged mine and my husbands initials and signature on the contract. We were never given a copy. He took our $3000 down payment and bought a Honda care warranty on out 2023 car. Refused to return or answer calls. The manager was emailed and messages left did not return then told he left and the new one did not respond. Forgery is a crime. The salesman may have been a part of it. The car was missing an emission part and had to be towed to the closest dealer to find and fix the problem. Took over a week. Did not get a free or any loaner car. Never got explanation of all charges.
