  We bought property with DD in EagleRock PA. ************ targets and scams immigrants. They even had their reps encouraging owners (property is worthless) to encourage their relatives in ***** to invest in *******. The fine print in the scam is the interest rates that continue to increase. Property bought at 40k is only valued at less than $1000. We have been making payments for 10 years and still not even close to paying off the worthy piece of land. Additionally you have to pay County/township tax, school tax, and homeowners all coming down to close to 3k a year. Many have walked away and ruined their credit and some of us are stuck because our jobs require we maintain good credit. Run Run do not be deceived into investing in the worthless piece of land.

  We take all consumer complaints very seriously. Land sales Eagle Rock Resort are subject to a very specific and lengthy set of federal regulations. As part of each transaction prospective purchaser are provided a Property Report which describes all manner of factors affecting the property, how transactions are carried, out and the risks associated with real estate purchases. Purchasers sign an acknowledgment that they have received the Property Report in addition to a Property Owner Questionnaire where they acknowledge they are not guaranteed a profit if they attempt to sell the property. We regret the customer's dissatisfaction, however our transactions are all carried out in accordance with the federal regulations.

  We have owned land in Eagle Rock resort in ******** ** for about 6 years. We were invited to visit the resort by a friend who had purchased land as well. We would occasionally visit the resort with our family. There was one point when we visited with our children and we had issues merely using the pool because there were 6 of us. They call you owners but you really are limited in using amenities. We were told that when we purchased the land that if we ever moved away and no longer wanted the land it would be very easy to sell. The agent even said that Eagle Rock would assist in selling the property. We have moved out of ** and our land has been on sell for over 2 years. We have paid thousands of dollars to Untied Equitable Mortgage. They charge tons of hidden fees that they do not tell you when you make a purchase. You have Mortgage, taxes, maintenance fees, and late fees. They tell you they did not receive your payments and charge late fees even if you show the payment was delivered on time. Having land in Eagle Rock is probably one the biggest investment mistakes my husband and I ever made and unfortunately we likely will continued to be burdened financially from this company for many years. I read in a prior BBB complaint that they target nurses and teachers, I can attest this to be true. We are devastated at the huge financial losses we have endured because we were not told the truth by their sales agents. They also will never buy the land back from you even though the sell other plots. I would never recommend this company to anyone

  these people are crooks. they want you to give the property back to them for pennies so they can ************* to their next victim. the salesmen are lying sewer creatures. stay away!
