1 starSouthern Company Building-******* location After receiving 2 emails this morning, 6:33AM all pumpkin items $2; photo of pumpkin spice latte and at 6:38AM Rewards email for 99 cents small or large beverage with any purchase (did not specify coke only beverages from syrup machine). After walking to restaurant for these specials (Order #****** 8:23AM 9/30/24)and placing my order, I was told that the 99 cents beverage is ONLY for Coke products with syrup so I had the pay full price $4.79 for my pumpkin spice latte. On 9/28/24 I placed order#****** for 2 cranberry muffins because they were out of the pumpkin spice muffins; My check paid was $3.89 for a pumpkin muffin and $3.49 for a cranberry muffin; in addition, I used the 99 cents beverage reward for a medium pumpkin spice latte and it was accepted at checkout. My check for today, 9/30/2024, is $15.87 because I was told that the 99 cents beverage is ONLY for Coke products with syrup so I had to pay full price $4.79 for my pumpkin spice latte. This is not in the email so why are there conflicting charges? I then asked for the $2 pumpkin spice special advertised price and still paid $4.79 because only 1 item was charged for the special and it was $1.89 NOT the $2 as advertised in the email. Therefore, since I ordered 2 pumpkin spice muffins - only 1 was almost the advertised special of $2 - it was actually $1.89 before taxes; the other was $3.89. Where is the truth in advertising in the email? There is no consistency in emails and actual counter prices.Review fromAg A

1 starThe Corner Bakery in Oak Lawn address:*************************************. ******, the new manager, was the rudest person I've ever encountered in the service industry. She not only yelled at and berated employees but was also extremely rude to customers. I felt especially sorry for the young man at the cashier station whom she humiliated. When I asked another employee for the manager's name, they responded, "you can ask her yourself." I said okay and proceeded to eat the meal I had just paid for.****** then came over to my table, invaded my personal space, took my receipt from the table, and wrote her name on it. I have been a loyal customer for over 10 years because I work nearby, but I will never return as long as she is in charge. Many of my employees also used to dine here, but they will no longer do so either. Her behavior was so rude, mean, and disgusting. I have never met anyone in the service industry who was so unprofessional. I fear that if I return, she may do something unsanitary to the food or even something violent. This cannot be a healthy place to work, and someone needs to step in and protect the workers from her. She made me and every other customer in the store feel uncomfortable.Review fromTi C

1 starThe Corner Bakery in *******, ** (The Southern Building on ****************) is the worst. I placed an order for the organization I worked for and let the manager and general manager know that I needed the taxes removed, and they basically told me it couldn't be done. However, I have an account with the company and have placed several orders from them in the past. Additionally, my food was not delivered at the time requested, it was cold when it arrived, and the entire order was not delivered. When I contacted the store to inform them items were missing the manager (**************) took the phone from the initial employee I was speaking with and was very combative and told me he knew for a fact he put items in the order that were not there. While speaking with him the general manager (********************) also spoke and was rude. She was the person that told me I could not be refunded for the taxes charged and I explained to her that although the item was placed online it was paid for with a company card that it tax exempt. ************** then proceeded to ask me if I was going to come pick up the items that were left out of the order which I had already paid for the delivery of and gave a generous tip. When I told him I wasn't coming to pick the items up he said, they would be brought to me. When he arrived ************** arrived, he called me to inform me where he was located. I went to retrieve the items and he said, nothing, I wasn't given an apology or anything, which I found to be extremely rude. Additionally, the order was delivered by an Uber driver who was also unpleasant and rude. Your company has lost business with an over 300 plus organization that places orders multiple times a year due to poor customer service from your management team.Review fromStewart S

1 starThe manager of the Basse location (quarry) needs to be replaced. They are always out of critical inventory items and wont tell you before you pay. ***** walk out with a bag of lettuce, tomato and ranch thinking you just received the chopped chicken salad you paid for. This has happened to me all 5 times *** ordered this past year. I will also be calling the corporate office to report the location. Its basically robbery lol.Review fromAlicea F

1 starI went to the *************** location I place an order for Bacon and Eggs. The couple behind placed a order for themselves and two children waited 8 minutes they get their food before me. I asked cashier where was my food she tells me oh she starting it now. I asked for refund no apology like it was no big deal. They make it obvious they do not care for blacks.Review fromRoberto E

1 starIf you are Hispanic I will never go to Corner Bakery on ******** and************** ******* because a new black young employee will not treat you right. On September 15 2022 my two coworkers and I went to Corner Bakery for breakfast. My two Co workers ordered a wrap and the other a croissant. I ordered a blueberry muffin and a medium hazelnut cold coffee. We sat on the second floor to wait for our food. The new black employee brought my two partners food and he told me my muffin was not ready yet. I could not believe it. Was it because I am Hispanic ? My two coworkers are black too and I paid for all the food. One of my coworkers said why is your muffin taking to long ? The muffin is right there. Finally my muffin arrived. The muffin was hard and cold. I ordered it warm and the black employee brought it cold and hard. Was it because Corner Bakery has most Hispanics working in their kitchen and the new black or chinese employees do not serve Hispanics? Why? I should it ask. Instead I decided to complain at the corporate office due to the fact it serves no purpose due to the fact that other reviewers had no answer.Review fromMartha A

3 starsI was at the Corner Bakery in ***********, CA
I went and stood in line for 45 minutes, was never acknowledge, only when a lady that was standing in line spoke and wanted to know the waiting period is when we were told it would be at least another 20 minutes.
When finally it was time for me to order I ordered chicken Santa Rosa and was told No! because they were out of noodles.
These employees need to go through some training regarding "stellar service" on how to treat their customers. Why not let us know so we are not standing in line and waste our time.
I think Corner Bakery should compensate the customers that were standing in line yesterday in the Chino Hills Cafe with no acknowledgement, with some gift certificates. I asked if we could get a raincheck for the buy one get one free and was told to call corporate, I called and that number does not work. *********
