    I placed an order at ** Madeleine and it was delievered to the wrong person.I contacted guest services. No reply.I contacted guest services again and ************************* replied stating that they needed a phone number to refund me. I replied with a copy of the receipt and my phone numer. I emailed again about a week later because they did not reply. They said they needed my number. I called the store to give them my number. A woman who spoke poor English answered but did not help me. She said that even though I placed the order through La *********, I had to go through the third party delivery service, which made no sense. I tried contacting the delivery service but couldnt get through because I did not have an acct.I dont have enough characters to detail every failed attempt I made at getting my money back but I tried contacting guest services, the store, La Madeleine's reward program servicer, and the third party delivery 3-6 times each. It has been a month now and no one at La Madeleine will return my messages

    I was at the La ******** cafe, the Lakeline branch in **************, *****, on Saturday March 11, 2023 around 1 pm. I was with three of my friends. I ordered an omlette, a side of fresh strawberries and an **************** for myself. the order arrived without my coffee, so I politely asked the waitress for my coffee. a few minutes later the manager of the cafe came and she said that I didn't order coffee with my order and I have to pay for it. Luckily, I told the manager I did order a coffee, and the manager insisted that I didn't, and she said that might be a mistake from the cashier. I told her either ways it's not my mistake but I'll check my receipt. Luckily I had my receipt and it proved that i did order coffee and I paid for it. I showed the manager the receipt and she said, "well, the receipt says coffee and not americano, so you have to pay the difference" I told the manager that first she claimed that I didn't order a coffee at all, and now she is saying that the receipt is for coffee and not americano. I told the manager apparently this is not my mistake. I ordered americano and it was the cashier mistake to write coffee instead of americano and please I want my coffee with my lunch. The manager then said ok I'll make americano for you, and she handed me a cup that is filled only to less than the third of it with coffee. I went back to the manager and I said, this is not an Americano. She said "that's what I can offer to you". At that point i was so much frustrated. That lady ruined my time with my friends and ruined my afternoon. I felt it's useless to discuss this with her, so I asked to talk to her manager. She said, I'm the manager here and I don't have anyone over me. I was so frustrated and I finally asked for a refund of my coffee which she made for me.If I was at any cafe/restaurant, anywhere in the the world, I would get an apology and my coffee immediately. That was the first time I was treated like that in a cafe.
