Rexel Customer #******-****** *********** Issue: Rexel Invoice #************** Order Date: 4/6/22-Order Placed by Wayne L. H*******, President, ****** *********** 1) Order placed at counter of Rexel-Tampa, FL branch and twice told counter rep to put sales tax on the invoice. Previously have done business with Rexel-Pinellas Park, FL branch and have had no issues (sales tax always on invoices) 2) Received invoice in mail with NO sales tax on invoice 3) 5/12/22: Alison H******* (Office Manager-****** ***********) called Rexel-Tampa, FL branch and spoke with Brian (Branch Manager). He said he would email the corrected invoice with sales tax. Brian did not do. 4) 5/17/22: Alison H******* called to talk to Brian again. He said that corporate was still working on it and that he would email the corrected invoice with sales tax and new due date. Brian did not do. 5) 5/25/22: Alison H******* called to talk to Brian again. He said he was not having any luck with the tax department, he would have to talk to his I.T. guy. Brian was asked to email Alison H******* about progress by end of work day 5/27/22. Brian did not do. 6) Alison H******* tried to work with David W**** (Rexel Credit Department listed on invoice) but was told the corrected invoice had to come from the originating branch (Tampa, FL). He did say he would file a dispute about the invoice. 7) The invoice was due 5/25/22 and now is overdue. We will pay the invoice immediately once it is corrected WITH sales tax on it. We have had a timely and excellent payment history with Rexel in the past. We do not appreciate this gross incompetence of Rexel not being able to take care of a simple tax issue on an invoice. 8) Our contact email address that was given is *************************.
