Reported 5/142023 that my invertor needed to be replaced. Called both Solar service provider ************* No ticket was provided, Sent a email via their Zendesk email system. Contacted Solar Edge the manufacture of the invertor created a ticket with them. Case: *******. This had notes specifically saying to warranty and replace my invertor. Called and emailed spruce the case number and verified they had it. 5/26/2023- Nova source is assigned my work order ********. Earliest appointment was 6/19/2023. Called and confirmed with Spruce to contact the manufacture and provide a shipping address for the invertor and that would create a RMA. 6/19/2023 Nova Source (installer) comes out with a work order to inspect. Spruce did not call Solar Edge the manufacture to set up and shipping address. Installer and I both contact Solar edge and get a RMA. I received the replacement invertor 6/25/2023. I then open ANOTHER ticket with spruce as they closed mine due to the work order being completed BUT never received the Installers (nova source) inspection notes. Once opened i get work order ********. Install work order with only a 7/31/2023 install date. I call ************* was told they cannot change installers. That they gave them the work order theres nothing i can do. Keep in mind ALL this time Im incurring charges from my local power company on a solar plan that I no longer producing power. Which cause my true up bill to grow from the lack of production. They will not compensate me or accommodate me to correct my issue after dropping the ball and not providing Solar Edge a address to ship the invertor too. I basically did all the work for them and they failed provided adequate service for their equipment. Here is the kicker. This is the SECOND time this has happened. last outage cost me $600+ in lost power Similar issue ************ failed to facilitate install of replacement invertor and now this time $750+. Ive taken 5+hrs away from my own job to facilitate my own Replacement.

This business continues to send "me" proposals through text for an address (not my address), and also calls me **** (not my name). I've continually asked them to take my number off their list and to no longer contact me. I have also attempted to block and report as spam, but their system continues to change the number.

I get spam texts from this company roughly once per week. They address me by the wrong name, and refer to a property that I do not own, in a state several thousand miles away. Impossible to unsubscribe. Really annoying spam, and there's no way to stop it. I respond with "stop" and they say they will, but then I just get another text from a different number a week later asking the same thing.

I received a text from Volta Solar stating my solar is ready that I didn't do business with. Not sure how they received my information. It is not clear to me what they want from me. I am not sure what this is and I am not able to find s contact number in their website or using this number in the text to reach to someone. Please reach out to them and have them take my information off their system.

Every month I receive a bill from Volta Solar Owner II, apparently part of ************, around the 28th or 29th of the month, dated on the 15th of the month, and with a DUE DATE two days away. For example, I received a bill on November 28th, 2022, dated November 15, with the due date December 1, 2022. If the bill is not paid by the due date, Volar Solar (through the company ******) charges a $10 late fee. I do not like to pay bills online and I do not wish to sign up for "paperless billing," if all this is a deliberate attempt to force customers to save billing costs. In addition, I looked over my signed agreement with the company and could not find a provision for the monthly "Non-ACH fee" of $5 the company also charges every month. In essence, this is another example of "gotcha capitalism" is which scuzzy companies make up bogus extra charges they can try to slip through to customers. Let's do the math: bogus $10 late charge plus $5 "non-ACH fee" = $15 extra every month x 300,000 customers adds up to an extra $4.5 MILLION in free money EVERY MONTH. This is the kind of improper billing practices that got Wells Fargo fined more than a BILLION dollars by the State of California.

This company cheat on their bills, they always have fees even if you pay online, not in contract only phone bills pay 4.75???my bills always late, I have to call and ask for it to know the amount and still get charge a fees even if I pay online. check on the attachment first page has an amount and you pay, oops look at the second page big lie now the bill it's $10.00 extra why?? that's what make people late fee because they did not see the extra. no integrity in their bills. plus with the original company when we sign up, the sales person mention at any time if you decide to cancel I can with no penalty, now this company said I have commitment for 20 years? we know they mention if we keep the solar for 20 years, we owe them. I can not trust them to do automatic payments. I am a retired navy vietnam veteran I would like to be treated with dignity not to be used.

Monthly statement arrives two days before payment is due. Company charges late fees. If it the company wants to get paid on time they should send their statements out like a credit card or city water bill. I am now charged late fees of $15.00 a month simply because I don't want to sign up for automatic billing. If that is their policy they should make it clear. Now they threaten to damage my exceptional credit ratting. As it stands the company seems unable to send a paper billing out with enough time for a customer to pay without incurring a late fee. I am on a fixed income and cannot afford to pay late fees. Thank You for your assistance in this matter. Have all bills to prove only 3 days to send payments.

I have been having billing issues with this company since August 2020. They went from Volta Solar to Energy Service Experts to Spruce Power since then. My billing has been messed up since then. Every time I try to call them to sort it out, I am either on hold for hours or once I get someone, my call is mysteriously disconnected. There is no way to check my account online and when I tried to call them, they said they could not set up an online account for me that there "system would not let them do it." I am constantly having to send in proof of payments to an email address that never responds. I am concerned that I have been overcharged for almost 2 years. The bills come in the mail a day or two before they are due. If I cannot check my account online, I have to wait for the bill and then they only allow 2 days to receive payment? There is no way I would sign up for auto pay through this company. They won't allow me to cancel the contract either. Payments made November 2020 $25.73, December 2020- no bill, January 2021- no bill, February 2021- no bill, March 2021- $125.79, April 2021- $128.14, May 2021- no bill, June 2021- $166.06, July 2021- $190.90, August 2021- no bill, September 2021- $177.20 and $147.86 (Was I over charged?), October 2021- $135.00, November 2021- $255.54, December 2021- no bill, January 2022- Bill lost. Called and was told the bill amount was $71.68 so that is what I paid. Received bill 1/31/2022 with an amount due of $118.65. They said they had no record of my $71.68 payment. I had to email proof of payment. I deducted this and only paid $46.97 on 2/1/2022. I feel this company got us into a contract that we cannot get out of.

The billing department at Volta Solar is a mess. The bill arrives one or two days before the due date so there is no way to mail it to Dallas by the due date. I started using a fax to authorize payments from my bank. Random higher amounts would be withdrawn from my bank instead of the amount that I authorized. The bank would reverse the incorrect payment, but they never withdrew the correct payment. Someone on the phone said that the business office would figure it out, but I never heard a thing from them. Then their fax machine became inoperable. The only way to pay was by phone. That seemed to be working. But my recent bill indicates a past due amount of $863. I have no idea where that came from as it was not mentioned on several previous bills. I have been charged random amounts in the past that make no sense. I also don't understand how my bills can go from $99 to $350 during the same season when solar production is rather steady. About a year ago, my panels stopped working but I continued to get bills. They never told me that the panels were not working. It took several months for someone to come out to get them working again. The communication with Volta is sorely lacking and the business office is highly inefficient. I would have the solar panels removed in a minute if it meant never having to deal with this company again.
