    Please clean my books claimed they would "clean up" our small business book keeping records for the last 2.5 years via quickbooks, we needed this cleanup in order for our accountant to process our 2023 business taxes as we had an extension filed. We paid 3,500$ for this service on June 11 of 2024. Upon further investigation after finding a local and independent book keeper to where we live, she said our books "were a complete mess" and that she literally has to delete everything that Please clean my books "organized" and start OVER, that nothing they did makes sense. Not only will this take more time to complete, it will cost us ANOTHER $1900 to perform this task. This local bookkeeper also informed us that because of this insufficiently performed task, that we missed out in possibly a lot of money In tax write offs for 2023 due to the fact of incorrectly categorizing certain transactions. We turned to Please clean my books because we are NOT bookkeepers and were trusting that we were "in good hands" and that our small business needs were going to be looked after. It is already hard enough to "make it" as a small business, but then feel like we were taken advantage of, and money taken from us for a job incorrectly performed, and more time taken from us as we'll. I have since emailed the person I had initially communicated with back in June, and someone else emailed me back saying that he no longer works there, and haven't heard anything back addressing my complaints.

    They will take your money, fail to do the job and then refuse to refund your money. I have written documents verifying all of the information related ******** the complete information far exceeds the available characters, here is a link to a pdf file on ****** drive with the complete information. ********************************************************************************** Clearly, ************************** is not a firm with which you would desire to do business.

    I have had a horrible experience with Please Clean My Books .com. On April 27th, I was looking to have my*********** online cleaned up. I was charged $595.00 and was told someone would be in contact with me. On May 2nd, I spoke with what I assumed to be an accountant named Christine. I spoke with Christine for over an hour. She was very attentive and assured me she would start working on my accounts asap. She sent me a download where they could access my computer and asked me to keep my computer on. I didn't hear anything from them for several days. On May 6th, I was informed that Christine had compute issues and it would be a day or two. On May 11th, I asked for an update, keep in mind that my computer was on this entire time. I was informed that Christine no longer works for the company and that I would be reassigned. I then waited an entire week, and on the 18th of May, I inquired. They told me I would be assigned to Heather. On both May 6th and the 11th, I asked for someone to call me to discuss. I received no calls. On May 20th, I asked Heidi for a refund, but she said she couldn't do that since I was already assigned to someone. I still have received no call, response, or service.

    in July 2021, We hired please clean my books to create financial statements and perform reconciliation using QuickBooks Desktop. The company charged us an agreed upon rice of $500.00. They assign us a bookkeeper who was unable to classify transactions in QB. Shortly thereafter, they assign a different bookkeeper. That person was not able to access our QB installation remotely. The new bookkeeper requested extracts so she could provide statements using their own system, Extracts were provided, however no true financial statements or reconciliation were ever given to us, only incorrectly classified expense breakdown. We subsequently hired a local bookkeeper who is able to use our QB installation. We requested a refund, but the merchant refused.

    Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2022/06/09) */ Their complaint is inaccurate. They were a husband and wife team who kept giving conflicting directions to the bookkeeper. We refused their refund request because they used up more than their allotted time with their husband/wife back and forth mistakes. In the end, their bank ruled in our favor after seeing the documentation. After having lost their dispute with the bank it appears their goal is to complain to anyone who will listen. Also, just for fun you should look up all the Google Reviews they've written on other companies. It is quite entertaining how much they complain and what they complain about.
