      I dropped off a kenmore laundry center (washer and dryer) on 1/26/2022. **** told me it needed a circuit board and would cost $210 tops to repair. Dryer was not drying. I kept getting the run around on when it would be ready. 2 month later he told me all they needed to do was reassemble unit. One more month went by and he told me it needed a motor and final **** would now be $176. Another month has gone by and I cannot get my unit or have him call me back. I have since found out that he does things like this to keep the unit. I bought this brand new in 2019. I need it back and don't know what to do. I have filed a review already.

      I made an attempt to contact Big ****'s Appliance.  Left message and texted phone. I have not heard back from the business.  It's just his continual delay tactic. Thank you, ****************************

      The customers appliance is not fixable. We have tried replacing different parts multiple times which have not fixed the issue. We have discussed this with the customer which is what led him to file this complaint in the first place.

      I am rejecting this response because: ********* told me back in January that it was circuit board and would be tops $210 as noted in original complaint. After multiple attempts to get him to reply, he told me several months later it needed a motor. After BBB multiple attempts to contact business, he responded that I needed to call to resolve the complaint.  I tried contacting business but they wouldn't respond. This is the first I here that it is not fixable. Laundry unit was bought through ********* in 2019. Everything worked except it was not drying. It has taken them seven months to respond with message that it is not fixable. I don't trust what they will return and whether it will be put back together in its original condition.  They have not tried to contact me at all. This has been a nightmare dealing with this business.

      To whom it concerns; Since Big ****** Appliance has not responded to any of my calls or text, has not operated in good faith in the last 8 month, I want my Appliance back in the condition it was when I dropped it off. Everything was working except it would not heat. I would like to receive it back as soon as possible and i am not paying for estimate to fix. Thank you, ****************************

      The appliance when received was NOT in working condition when it was brought to us which is the reasoning behind the control board being ordered. The customer fails to understand that we are still operating in COVID times, and manufacturing facilities are still tying to catch up on getting parts out of their doors. We strive to give our customers reasonable time frames, but we are the manufacturers mercy when it comes to getting the needed parts. **************** is more than welcome to come to our office to get it during our regular business hours. The appliance is all put back in the same condition as it was dropped off and ready for pick up. We have removed all new parts that we installed and put on the original parts. Attached is a picture of the appliance ready for pick up in non-working condition, the way it was dropped off.

      I am rejecting this response because: The bussiness only contacted me once in the last 9 month. That was two days after I dropped off unit. He told me it was the circuit board and would be $210 tops to repair. After multiple attempts to contact them, I stopped in on March to see what the hold up was, and **** told me all they needed to do was assemble unit. Another month went by and I called and he told me the motor was bad, and even though the motor was working when I dropped it off, I agreed to let him replace it when he said he could get one in two days. At that time I also told him I would come get it and he told me no because no one else but him could fix it. Finally a few month back he responded through BBB for me to call to resolve issue. I called and texted to no avail.  Now 9 month later he is saying that I don't understand about supply issues. I will pick up unit as he says I can in latest response to BBB and take it to a reputable business.
