In June 2021, I hired ACCO Construction to level my house with extra attention given to the center beam. I spoke with John and Derek ****. ***** came to my home on 9/10/ 2020 to inspect. On 9/ 12/2020 Derek quoted me the price of $5400 to do the needed work. I waited until I got my money together and we connected again in June of 2021 to get the work done. John and another crew member came on June 20, 2021. I took off the whole week from both of my jobs so I would be home. They only showed up three days. They rarely showed up from June to July 8, 2021. On that date, they came mostly to gather up their equipment. John **** told me the house needed to settle and he would be back in a couple weeks to finish. He asked me to go ahead and pay him, I did. They never came back so I contacted him and he would tell me he was working another job and would make promises to come back. but never did. On August 12, 2021, I texted Derek and told him that since my last text, I was not receiving any responses. I told him that this is August and I was trying to find out when my leveling would be complete. They started back texting me saying they were coming but had other jobs. On September 10, 2021, they showed up at my house in part because of a certified letter my neighbor had sent to them regarding poor work that they did at her house. I was at work so I don't know what they did at my house but I know they did something that left an opening and my toilet was tilting. They left my stove leaning and rather than the leveling they did making things better, its much worse. I called John on November 3, 2021 and complained about the terrible work and the damage they had caused. On November 10, 2021. I received a message that John left saying he would be back in a couple of days to put a beam in. On November 7, 2021, I hired ***** Home Inspections to inspect my house so I could find out how much damage was done. The report states that the work done appears to be poor workmanship.
