On 07/30/2021, an estimate for a Patio Cover Gable & Flat Approx, 12 x 26' All cedar shingles to match existing 6 x 6' Open beam post in the amount of $15,000. Texas Patio & Concrete owner Daniel M. ******** the agreement was to pay 50% deposit and the 50% at completion which was 08/11/2021, signed and agreed by both parties. I hold a copy of the Signature Certificate and the signed contract agreement. The Quality guarantee / Warranties: TPC will use its best efforts to provide "Customer" with the highest quality of products and services. All material workmanship under, normal use and service, will be covered under TPC's limited warranty for a period of One Year. All work was left as I believed to be satisfactory until early February, when roof Patio Leaks. I contacted TPC, Daniel M****** and made 4 to 5 attempts by emailed and phone. The phone number was unavailable. I couldn't believe that a man whom I'd trusted was now impossible to get a hold of. I has to repair the leak before damages would incurred. I hired JLT Roofing because I knew they would be the best to find the faults as to what was causing leaks. They found roof leaking from the valley meets porch, replaced shingles, installed new flashing and sealed it. Install new ice and water shield which TPC should have installed where the valley meets Cover Patio. Negligence on their workmanship in service where they fail to install missing flashings and properly sealing on completions of Patio is where I'm out of pocket $1000.00. I just want this company whom I completely trusted and highly paid 15,000 should be investigated and not be licensed to do business with Customers, and change their phone numbers and e-mailed is longer exists. They do have a facebook page, and I want to warn people not to trust this company.

This business signed an agreement with us to build a patio addition to our home that included concrete, roofing and an outdoor kitchen. They collected 1/3 of the total amount in August 2022 to start the project, then collected another 1/3 in early October on for all materials needed. They completed the concrete work by Oct 9th (which comprises about 15% of the total), since that time very little work has been done and since early November there has been 0% work on the project. The contractor and owner (****** *******), started giving one excuse after another why no work is being performed and then by mid-November has not been responding to phone calls, emails, text messages or any other communication. He has collected his money and simply refuses to perform any work. We are asking for this business to refund us 70% of the monies that we have paid.

We signed a contract with this company on 17June 2022, @ this time we gave the contractor a deposit of 50% which was $15,800. The project started with framing and rebar for the concrete which was disapproved by the ****************** 4x. In November we finally passed inspection. Since the approval to pour concrete was received no concrete has been poured. The contactor finally texts us 2 December that he had a death in the family and would be returning to the US. We haven't heard from him since that date even with repeated texts and emails.

In October 2021 we contracted with Texas Patio and Concrete to extend the concrete for our patio and construct a arbor over a portion of the new patio. The business required a 50% deposit in order to secure the job and be placed on the construction schedule. They anticipated the completion of the project to be late December or early January. After those dates passed without any communication we contacted the business and they informed us that as a result of weather delays it would take a few more weeks to commence with the project. The provided us with renderings and stated it would take an additional 6 weeks for a permit approval. I contact the city and county and confirmed a permit was not necessary due to our home being in the ETJ. At the end of the six weeks we received an email from the owner stating he filed for bankruptcy and we would need to contact his lawyer to discuss what would be required for repayment of our deposit. I want to warn others from starting any projects with this company to prevent others from loosing thousands of dollars on a business that takes your money and runs. They stated the money was required to purchase materials for our project. If that was the case then they should be able to refund us immediately.

Comp name: Texas Patio and Concrete (they can change their name) License #: XXXXXXXXXX Register state: TX Owner: Jan ****** ******* DOB: 04-19-1981 I signed a contract with Texas Patio and Concrete in May, 2021 for over 65K to extend the cover patio and renovate the pool. First they asked for a $500 deposit for engineer drawings, HOA and City permit, which is reasonable, and they make us believe they are legitimate company with all fake good reviews online. Anyway, before they collect the 50% deposit, they are very responsive to our calls, texts... They submitted HOA and City permits then collected over 32K deposit (50%) then disappeared for 4 months. I called and called, texted, emailed...threatened for a legal path. Nothing to get them answer nor show up to work, until I posted bad review in September 2021, Daniel (the owner XXX-XXX-XXXX) or (XXX) XXX-XXXX called back and blamed that our bad review killed their business, threaten me and asked me to take down the bad review. Daniel lied and told me that their attorney won't let them come to my house to work if I do not take the bad review off. Anyway, I took off the bad review. They sent out 2 guys who did not speak any English and who had no clue of what was going on. Ricardo (assigned as the project manager) never on site to show them what to do nor being responsive at all. The guys showed up 1 or 2 days then took off 2 weeks, after 8 months they demolished halfway of the retaining wall above the pool, broke my pools and left it green up (see attached pictures, it will give you the idea). Daniel the owner came to my place on 12/23/2021 at 8pm (1 day before Xmas eve), and told me that his mom had cancer in Mexico and now he does not have any money left to do my project. friends - other than posting bad reviews on their business, what else can we do to those scammers, bad people to stop them from create more fraud to others? They obviously try to collect 50% of each project (each customer) and run.
