I recently had the unfortunate experience of arranging services for a loved one at Eternal Rest funeral home in ******. While I understand that funeral homes deal with grief on a daily basis, I was appalled by the complete lack of empathy and respect displayed by the staff from beginning to end. Service was horrible from the immediate start of them picking up my uncles body. They were very insensitive, rude, unorganized and cold. When we went to make the funeral plans, I ended up being more upset wanting to transfer my uncle's body elsewhere. From the moment we walked in, it was evident that our needs were not a priority. You will never be greeted or spoken to. You will have to do the talking first as if you own the company. They will just stare at you!! They lack emotional intelligence to deal with grieving families. They have no sympathy or empathy at all. It's walking into a ghetto mess. No one ever knows what the next person should be doing or what was done. Everyone looks and point fingers at the next person there. I wouldn't bring my dead dog to this place. Now leading up to the funeral when we got there to go into the family room they had another family inside of that room, which was so unprofessional so disheartening and just plain disgusting. They had no regard for either family families. Then they finally came to ****** the people out of the room that was coming to meet with a funeral Director. During a service of the funeral, there was no ushers to provide us Kleenex or anything, we had to send family members outside the funeral to look for Kleenex. Also, during the funeral they didn't know where the resolutions were and we were told it's not their job to keep up with them. They never till this day gave us a refund of $600 or death certificate it's has been 2 months
