    Throughout the past few months my time living at the ***** 649 apartments has been horrible as a service member. 2 months ago I filed a noise complaint against my neighbor. The first incident my neighbors harassed me by me filing a noise complaint and they did nothing about it besides give them a warning. The second time I filed a complaint my neighbors mother and father banged on my door threatened me to come out and then proceeded to call me out my name which they also did nothing about. Since then I have filed 8 noise complaints and NOTHING has happened. Since then I have been on the verge of moving out and one of the employees told me that there was nothing they can do about it and I should find elsewhere to live. They recently just contacted me in regards to signing my new lease or else they will have to go month to month base pay because I did not give them a 60 day notice. My lease ends in December. I explained to them how I thought that it was unfair to hold me to a standard of not giving a 60 day notice but my neighbors can literally harass me, threaten me, and keep making noise and nothing happens. As a service member I am disappointed on how they conducted business and this is no place for service members.

    This is my apartment complex that the complaint is about. They are failing to adequately protect myself and my husband from another tenant who attempted to assault him and unlawfully entered our apartment following a fight between our dogs. They are instead forcing us to pay 3 months rent to break our lease despite us raising our safety concerns and their lack of action to prevent further incidents with the other tenant. They also will not spell out the specific amount needed or steps to break the lease in writing despite this situation not being explicitly covered in our lease. They also will not acknowledge the other tenants actions or our safety concerns in writing.
