    My name is ******* ****** and I went into Tropicana Canutillo Palms Apartments for a apartment on 9/30/2024 I asked for a two bedroom but they only had a three bedroom that was available and to show so i love the three bedroom and thats the one I wanted so I paid the application fee that was $27 and after I my paperwork the young lady ********* told me that they will call me with the approval for the unit and for me to bring in the deposit of $400.00 so I bring her the deposit a cashiers check on 10/3/2024 after I gave her the check she told me again that someone will be in contact with me and my move in date will be on October the 18th and I will get the keys on the 18th that I was approved and I had to get with the leasing department guy name ******* to get the keys and for my lease after that everything is done so I waited for his call and he finally called me and told me that I was approved that I had to pay a second deposit thats when I didnt understand why did I have to pay another deposit so I asked for my deposit back and he told me on the 18th that I would receive my deposit back in three weeks in the mail at the address I put on my application and that my deposit was refundable back to me and I have a recording of him saying that my money would be refunded back to me in three weeks and before I did the paperwork I asked will my deposit be refunded back to me and she said yes it is and gave me a receipt for the cashiers checks I gave her and she signed it I am very very disappointed because I feel that they took advantage of me Im disabled and a cancer every time I call for my deposit they will not answer their phone calls or answer their emails and now they blocked my phone calls every time I call so can you please help me Ive been calling and its been going on three weeks now and I havent received my deposit and its past the 18th when he told me that my deposit would be in the mail. Ive been checking the mail and I havent received anything

    I moved out of *********** apartment Tropicana properties on 10/31/2023 and they are charging me an excessive amount of money for holes in the wall! To be exact $45 for 31 6x6 hole! Upon move out I patched all of the holes, and none of them were 6x6! The size is exaggerated!

    I applied for an apartment as a future resident on 07/23/22 at approximately 12:30 PM. I was instructed to sign a few documents prior to moving forward with the actual lease contract. I was told I would have to get approved first by submitting my credit information. I understand the $20 application fee and why it's not refundable but I also left a $400 deposit. I was told that if for any reason I end up not moving in I would get the deposit back but not the $20 application fee which made sense to me. Today on 07/27/22 I came in to retrieve my application as I decided I'd stay at my current residence a few months longer. They showed me a copy of addendum that I had signed saying something different from what I was told (attached copy). As you can see that made me a little upset as I applied considering what I was told as I was still looking at other options. Well, I re-read the addendum and it does state that I have 7 days to execute the lease agreement unless we agree to different arrangements before the deposit is retained as liquidated damages and it has been 4 days. I was also never notified of the status of my application prior to coming in for the retrieval of my application.
